I used to have a 1976 VW westfalia camper.. I sold it after I bought my 1991 Westfalia camper. I like the later westfalia campers better. the 2.1L engine is bit slow starting off line but will run 70 mph all day long. be sure your good mechanic.. parts often take days to get from vendors and VW dealers have to order every part I've ever needed.. I'm pleased with mine however...

John... Just an idea.. maybe if we get all the deafies we know, plus maybe a few camera people who would like a visual warning LED maybe we could het L&B to make us a special run? I'm guess 25 to 50 might get their attention? then we'd have to collect money for group buy.. theres at least 25 deaf jumpers that we know of now.. as for camera people.. who's like LED visual warning.. no idea..on how many..

yea, that's one way to look at it..I was assuming they were heathy enough that getting a First class medical is not a problem.... like it is for me.. I'm deaf.. can't get a First class, but 2nd and 3rd no problem.

yea, I'm wondering too.. why he got a first class with a student pilot ticket? 1st class is good only 6 months, 2nd class 1 year, 3rd class 3 years, or 2 years if over 40 years of age.. unless you hold a ATP rating you really don't need a first class medical..

you can bring your own booze on plane, but there really is a FAR / FAA rule that it must be served by crew [F/A] I guess that's to limit you from getting drunk...
