A friend of mine is looking for a good home for a very special dog. He said it's really lovable and friendly with the kids, but his wife says the dog makes her nervous when it stares at her and she wants it out of the house. She isn't much of a dog person, I guess. Pass this on if you know anyone who may be interested. A photo is attached. Can you help?

This may or not be funny..but I thought it was sort of after it happened... I work a PT fun job in delivering pizza's..our back door is broken..if ya close it it won't open.. Anyways, we work next to a Vons..some picketeers were there and aa I was heading out the back with pizza he asked me if it was okay to stay out bac..they was watching for the truck ti show up.. I said..okay, but don't close the door 'you'll get locked out..then as I was opening the door all the way..I smashed his sign a little bit that he layed behind it..so I thought that afterwards..all an accident.. I think when I go back to the store and buy a pack of gum..and they'll ask" you want some help out?' I'm gonna say yes. It did seem the pizza delivery was up last night..I walked out with $36 tips!

Get a pitch pipe. They're fairly accurate if you get a decent one. Nah, get a real tuner and a 9volt battery. A tuning fork would be better than a pitch pipe..used the money for a the pitch pipe for a Kazoo..at least you can make music out of it! ahaha I'm gonna have to learn to tune the mandolin, my fender acoustic 12 string W/Elixir strings I'm getting good a keeping it in tume, now..after about 4 broken strings..(don't tune up laying in bed drunk!haha) If and when I get an electric I'll be a Gibson Les Paul or a hollow-body style with tremolo bar..and I would love to get the Valvetronix model amp..but would rather stick to a regular amp like a Fender Deluxe (Neil Young uses..see GuitarPlayer mag) I'm learning and playing around with alternate tuning Also next on my wish list is a resonator guitar, steel guitar and a Taylor!

I got a Alvarez acoustic Fender 12-string acoustic Yamaha Keyboard (just learning, know 3 chords) C-harmonica (learning) and this weekend put down $20 for a $800 Washburn mandolin..manager's gonna sell it to me for $350 ! Have ya'll seen any of the new guitar picks? Some are what the call "cat tongue" feel..like little spikes for gripping? their kinda neat. Also, I saw in Guitar Player and $9.95 guitar pick "Jellifish" pick suppose to make 10 different sounds with guitar..it has a single row of small wires on the end of pick (jellifish.com ? i think)

I grew up in Southern Illinois. My relatives were all coal miners..alot of wildcat strikes..ya didn't cross them picket lines! People got beat up when they did..and people went to jail and people went to the hospital. But, I would go to a grocery store if i needed to and cross the picket line..but I don't need to this week.I'm single and have access to free pizza! hahahahaahah..everything else I can get at the liquor store!

As usual some folks, myself included, are just trying to put a good spin on this, but the reality is that it sucks pretty hard. My entire life just took a pretty hard turn.[/reply Not your "entire life"? I think your next job will be better!

But I guess if he's only able to do a couple of the things he intends then you'd call him an utter failure? No..but obiviously..you seemed to have taken my post and thought about it, dis-sected it in your own mind, read between the lines have decided that that is what I will do...and that is "utter"ly wrong, uncalled for and happens "utter"ly too often here at dropzone.com..and another reason me to not post here about anything regarding politics, religion!

I don't know.. After Ronald Reagan, Clint Eastwood, Jesse Ventura, Sonny Bono (?) and anyothers that got politic jobs?? I had to laugh..when I saw Arnold on tv to me it was sorta like seeing a cartoon character turn to life! Man.I guess if he does ALL the things he says he's gonna see get done,,it would be good.. SKYDIVER JOAN MURRAY IN THE NEW DISCOVERY CHANNEL SERIES - VITAL SCAN www.vitalscan.tv Silver Spring, MD (September, 2003) – BrainBox Productions Inc., a Silver Spring based Production Company, explores incredible stories of traumatic injury in the new original series Vital Scan – premiering on October 10, 17 and 24, 2003. Our bodies -- exquisitely equipped to deal with a dangerous world. But sometimes the danger overwhelms. Chris Houser, Trevor Snowden, and Joan Murray suffered sudden, life-threatening catastrophes. But they didn’t suffer alone. Rushing to their aid was a full complement of medical technology, fast-thinking friends, and near-perfect timing. Our bodies possess enormous healing powers. And when something is truly lost, medically and mentally we somehow find ways to adapt. On September 25th, 1999, bank executive and skydiver Joan Murray hit the ground at nearly 80 mph. She shattered her pelvis and landed in a bed of fire ants. Rushed to the hospital, physicians were able to put her body back together. Today, a stiff elbow is the only outward sign of her near disaster. A year and a half after her crushing accident, Joan stepped out of an airplane for one last, celebratory dive. Vital Scan, Episode 3 also features the stories of Baltimore City police officer, Chris Houser, who was gunned down during undercover drug bust, and Trevor Snowden, former pro snowboarder turned paraplegic mountain bike madman. Each episode of Vital Scan unfolds with first hand accounts, dramatic recreations, archive footage and exciting 3D animation. “Vital Scan is more than an interesting medical show. It is a powerful hour of human stories and amazing life experiences,” said series producer Travis Gray. Episodes one and two of the series tell the stories of: · Travis Pastrana - another X-Game phenomena who landed short on a 120-foot jump. The impact forced his spine downward and apart from his pelvis. · Jack Roush – NASCAR mogul whose near death plane crash resulted in an heroic rescue. Interview Mark Martin. · Maryland Police Officer – head split open when a steel hook from a tow truck ricocheted into his head. · Mat Hoffman – BMX legend who lost his spleen, and almost his life, after a 46 foot freefall on his bicycle. Interview Tony Hawk. · Rock climber – a moment of miscommunication sent him plummeting nine stories off a rock face. · Lindsay Thomas – 18 year-old woman trapped in her car for 5 days after falling asleep at the wheel. AIRDATES: Friday nights at 10pm EST (see listings for additional airdates) Ep. 1 - October 10, 2003 Ep. 2 – October 17, 2003 Ep. 3 – October 24, 2003 About BrainBox Productions: BrainBox is a Silver Spring based production boutique specializing in original programming production, broadcast design, and post-production.

My Dad use to always help make me Groucho Marxz. I think he enjoyed it more than me. Only 1 year I went to a church Halloween party dresssed as Alice Cooper (my idea, a little older then) I won some prize with it. And just add an extra funny thing..one year I got a rock wrapped in aluminum foil just like Charlie Brown!

The professor? Is he the guy who helped me find you at the party at Elsinore? I didn't know that?

I find out last night, there's this 18 yr old kid.. (a big o boy..with loud mouth know it all attitude) Well.he has been arrested for shooting out 45 windshields with a bbgun or possibly frozen paintballs! One of the cars was a plolice car.. Man..this kid is one of the laziest 18 yr olds I've ever seen...( I despise laziness at any job!) Anybody else work with these types? If it wasn't for the extra $300 plus amonth plus an additional #200 in tips I would quit and just go to school full time at night! (ps it's a pizza delivery job at the busiest place i town)
