    Sounds like things went to hell quick then. I hope they figure out what the hell happened. The self report that they speak of will for example if I start an engine and it "Hot Starts" will uplink a message VIA ACARS to the engine desk. Before I can tell my supervisor what happened the engine deskis already calling. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    I think they have a mix of RR's and GE's. Depends on what model 777. I don't know what engine was on wing. I will look into and try to find out. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    I have no problem running twins over the pond. They just had a bad streak with shutdowns. I cannot remember the last shutdown we had on a heavy. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

    AF has been having trouble with there 777's also. 4 inflight shutdowns in one month tends to have a negative effect on your ETOPS. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
