Do they have showers at the DZ because the way it sounds I dont think I will be able to make it back to the hotel at night. I mugh just end up camping on site it there are showers there. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

I still havent got any info on what this entire SCR ceremony thing is all about? Should I even ask anymore or what. I at least need someone there to hold my hand through it and my mommy cant make it there. Any volunteers? Preferably female? If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

Ok, is there another way to pre-register since most of the links on the boogie web site wont let me do it. And is there a sign up list for things like the balloon jumps or high alti or big way and if there is how do i get on that list. *** It is an award you get for exiting the aircraft (no grips) and forming at least an 8 way star (round) and holding it for a certain time length. It's a really cool tradition. Why do I get the feeling I need to bring a lot of shampoo and soap along with me, and I mean a lot more than I normally would! Sounds like a great time and I cannot wait to meat everybody! WOW!! From the sound of this one I will have to make it. I have just recently moved to the south and will definitely make this boogie. Hey Chief, I took almost a year up when i was wrappin things up with school and trying to find a job for when I got out of school. I did just enough to stay current and a lot of the times I was sooo busy for me to even miss it all that much. But now I have moved got some of my finances in order and have gotten back in the saddle. Give it some time, you just might need a little break but the itch will come back. Hang it there my friend. Hey thats better than what I have done Hollywood. As a broke college student jumps this summer really sucked. I should be moving to Atlanta towards after the new year so hopefully things will get back on track. I really want to try to get to Byron for the Boogie next year but we'll see what happens. I still need to complete that Hybrid with Chop. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

Oh now you want to go to the boogie this year Hollywood! The year when you know I cannot make it! Why are you avoiding me Hollywood? Dont want to get shot up by the Rookies mad skills he has acquired over the few years? Tell me I want to know! LOL Wish I could make it out there to jump with you guys again. I had a blast out there last year but I am in the middle of getting ready to relocate cross country. Hopefully I will be able to make it next year but you just never know. Oh old friend, if you only knew what the future has in store for you. I cannot wait until I start getting flight benefits from Delta just so I can follow you around and bless you with these knock down skills that I have acquired over the few years and prove to you once and for all that just because your old doesn't mean your good!, and prove to you once again Hollywood why they call me THE ROOKIE. Whenever I jump with Flyhi (A.K.A Hollywood) I get that feeling like i just got kicked in the groin with a steel toe boot. And usually I'm right, with him going low, or trying to do a back in and end up tracking away from the formation, or him funneling the formation and canon balling on my head, anybody who has had the absolute privilege to jump with Hollywood will be in for ride they will never forget. If you need some backup up Hollywood and Chop I say we go and pay the bastard a visit. It would be hard but possible. Is this guy a jumper or just some dousch bad from L.A. Hollywood! Oh you just had to bring that up. Well I remember someone who tried to do a back in by looking between his legs and ended up tracking about 100 feet away from us. Yeah, the way you explained things i knew it had to be Connie hiding behind the passenger. She wimps out like that all the time. Smart but still a wimp in my book but you still have to love her. I felt the same way you did! I knew the material and didnt believe I should have to do this dog and pony show. The only problem was I knew the material but I really didnt know how to teach it to someone who doesn't know the terms and stuff and who might have to be taught a little more in depth than others. But I did it and got it over with And now I enjoy taking newbies on jumps. So much can go sooo far with the new people. When everything goes good for them they are soooo pumped about it, even thought it was nothing big to me, it was for them so it feels good to give a little back since I tried my instructors a lot when I was the FNG!!!!! I wear earplugs a lot of the times. It all depends on which airplane I am boarding. I'm not really to concerned when getting on a King Air or Otter but i try to have them with. The Pratt's are not that loud but when a Casa or Skyvan shows up and the Garrets are winding, I always have ear plugs but I take them out before I exit. I have about 40 more years to go of being around aircraft being that i'm in the aviation field and I need to conserve as much hearing as I can. When I was in the army I lost some hearing due to the fact that during live fires and weapons and everything else going off, I didnt wear them like I was supposed to because I couldn't hear what my team or squad leader was yelling at me.
