Now now, I think we are getting way off base from were this thread started. I dont want anybody to have to move, or revoke citizenship or anything like that. This is supposed to be a simple discusion on some policies and some including me get wound up sometimes. She has every right to her opinion and I will never have a problem with that. From the look at some other threads lately I can honestly say that some of the people here really dont like each other. I just hope that after all the things that I say on here that if I ever show up to the DZ where you call home we can still go up and play. Who are these richest americans? Anyone who makes over $100,000 a year. Sounds like greed envy to me. My father made $220,000 last year, he took home $145,000. Doesnt sound like a tax break to me. Got out of the Army, got involved with a business with a friend. Made a Shit load of money, living the good life them BOOM! Then broke on my ass and not knowing what to do. It's a scary place to be. honestly I do not wish my illness on you or anyone else. My response was written out of emotion and wish to take it back I do, however, wish that this country would get back on track and help those in need. Why would I do that when all I do is skydive? A little sarcasm there. I think people are getting a little wound up here and I want to lighten it up a bit. But I have bought my own health care out of pocket. Cost me $145 a month. My employer now has my insurance covered for the most part but it costs me about $25 a month for health, vision and dental. Maybe you should read what I wrote. I said for the people who truly need I'm all for it. But it's the leaches of the nation who drag it down. The ones who never put anything into the system and just sit with there hand out. What are you wanting in return? Do you want a free ride for the rest of your life? $5,000 a month social security? what is it you need? If you are injured or have an illness and cannot work i'm all for helping you my friend. Wasnt in my profession, pay wasnt the best but guess what, still had a roof over my head and food on the table. Actually I have been layed off a few times and always found another job within a couple days. Never sat on my ass for 6 months waitting for the Unemployment checks to stop before I started looking. My best friend works at GM. I have seen him at work before. You see people sleeping on the line and a bunch of other stuff but the unions got them locked in so I really dont feel all that sorry for them. There are the one's who do there job and have to take the heat for all the slackers. Sounds like a personal attack to me. Why would you wish something like that on anybody? Whenever a country has a flood, typhoon, earthquake of whatever which country is it that has a fleet of cargo planes haulling ass to there disaster with food, water, medical supplies, doctors and building supplies? Never did try that one. I fell in love with the Samurai and that was the end of that. I knew that it was what I was looking for. It should be delievered this coming week sometime. I spent 6 hours waitting for a simple broke toe and that was supposed to be the "FAST TRACK" line. I didnt understand that fast part but anyway. Sounds like everythings good in Mile-hi. I think that sums it up right there. You can see how many jumps I have. I have been under a stilleto 120 for 400 jumps now and the stilleto is getting really old and tired. Might have a better life as a car cover. So I started to demo a few canopy's. Tried the Katana. Fun but didnt like it. Tried the Velo, same W/L as my stilleto. Didnt like it. On the Velo I just felt like I was 2 steps behind it the entire ride. Maybe I'm just not experienced enough for it. Jumped the Samurai and love it, comfortable, a lot like my stilleto exceot for having to start my carve a little bit higher. But if I ever had to land in somebodys backyard I would not hesitate 1 bit. I guess my point is dont be dumb and understand what your limits are and accept them. I know I shold not be flying a Velo 103 and I accept it. 120 Samurai will be fine for me and can give me years of fun and exciting swoops. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
