It should have been done instead of this disaster called health reform. So how much of a tax increase are you willing to pay for WPA. I myself say cut spending other places before raising anything. So with the health care bill moving along I am sitting here today putting things together getting ready to go see my tax man and after adding things up I paid a shitload of money in taxes. Enough money I could almost puke! I cannot believe how much the Govt seems to take but turn around and keep taking more to pay for there bullshit programs. So with health care, welfare, corporate bailouts, stimulus programs, and everything else they piss money away on, if health care passes what do you think the next big spending bill will be that the govt will demand that us tax payers must support for the so called good of the people? I got some pic's of me and my AG and AB humpin all that shit. We were always the slowest ones in the hills and nobody liked us until they needed us and they hear me start to rock that M240. Oh I hope the flight test goes better than the wing load test went. We really need that thing to fly and be delivered! That plane will lead to at least 250 more tech's being hired at my hub alone. Any man who served in Vietnam on the ground should smile when they seen this bad boy lurkin above them. I love this plane. I love the old Corsair but there has always been something about this bird that I love. The amount of ass whoopin it can haul. It's ability to lurk above for long periods of time and the ability to get in low and slow to hit what needed to be killed. My dad also has a special place in his heart for these guys. And this happened right after the managment and the incompetent decisions lost them money and now they want to make up the loss but cuttin wages by 40%. Gee, I wonder why the workers are pissed. You make it sound like we come in one day and decide to strike. If a strike happens there have been talks already and the workers refused the offer by the company. The workers vote to strike. Not the union. Managment has control. From what I have seen thet are too lazy to get rid of people. I can list some good examples of this. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

I know what he means by manage the workforce. We don't have a problem with being managed. That's there job. We have a problem when managment keep making stupid decisions that effect us and they refuse to listen to us when we make suggestions. It sure wasn't the union either where I am at. Some guys just took things into there own hands. We have a pretty good relationship with our managment where I am at. Most have worked there way up as a tech before they got the position they are in now. The problem we are running into is the managment at HQ. They make the worst business decisions and then come running to the workers to bail out there piss poor managment. On the other hand when we make suggestions on things they never listen. I don't see where he said that. What about union shops? You think just because I am in a union shop we call the shots? We are in contract talks now. No raise since 2001 and the company told us to basically get fucked and walked away from the table. Never gave us the chance to talk about a raise. Here it is, take it or leave it and they walked away. So much for the union controlling things. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!

No, they are the ones who piss on the workers so much they push back. I have been in both union and non-union shops and the result is the same. Workers will take so much until they say thats enough and do things like you described above. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
