I was just looking at my log book to see when Skydive Sandwich opened and saw Jim Bohr's signature in there. He was MUCH mellower after joining Roger in Sandwich (I found him to be a very intimidating character at Hinckley :-)

" From 1986 to 1989, Roger ran the Illinois dropzone 'Skydive Sandwich'." I just looked at my log book and I began jumping at Skydive Sandwich in October of '82, so Roger opened it sometime before that. I just saw Kim Barden's name in the comments ... probably the nicest person I met in the sport (even after I "crashed" his rig in the winter corn stubs as a newbie ... he let a 50 jump newbie borrow his rig!)
