    I therefore wonder aswell why people even create a poll like this.. with such an obviously correct answer. Perhaps the poll serves to separate the stupidly emotional from the practical thinkers. Do you think they might create a poll such as this to vent anger/hostility that might otherwise lead to a regrettable action. Don't be so self righteous!     Sit down with the mother and this young lady and ask her for her thoughts on the matter. Being a victim can make you feel helpless.     Last year I went to Belize as part of Calif. Aerial Circus and did 7 demos in 6 days for Maya Island Air. They provided an Air Van for all jumps and to ferry us around the country. It's a good jump ship up to about 5,000 agl and then it dogs out. We had 4 jumpers and 2 pilots. It has room for 7 jumpers and pilot but like I said it is not a rocket ship up high.     Instructors make low wages, work long hours, have to put up with shit from everyone. But they are the future of our sport. They have first contact with the public and have a lot to do with weather people come back and become "Skydivers". God bless them, without them we will end up jumping alone.     Thanks for the info. In all the years I have been playing with rigs I have never seen even a reserve take more then 17 lb. properly rigged of course. 22 lb. for a main is silly. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

    I have a copy of the SB, in fact I have tested several pins. I would like to know if anyone knows of a pin breaking from either test #1 or #2. All have heard of are pins bending. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

    With a curved pin, I don't think it would take more than 8 - 10 pounds no matter how tight the loop is. 22 lb. is almost the weight of some rigs which means you would be able to pick the rig up by the bridle. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
