If a "drunk pedestrian" gets hit by a car it sure sounds like an "alcohol related accident" to me. And I spent 30 years on as a Firefighter and you can be sure drunk divers come in all ages and all levels of intoxication. The one thing they have in common is they are driving a 4000 lb. loaded weapon. No amount of rationalization is going to change the fact that drinking and driving is irresponsible and dangerous to other living things. Sparky My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

You need a dose of reality. Stoned or drunk, there is no difference. Either way your ability to think and function is impaired. I spent 30 years picking up the end result of drunk and loaded drivers. It the the measurement of speed used in all aviation. It is not .87 but 1.15. Take 100 mph, multiply by 1.15 and you get 115 knots. Take 100 knots, divide by 1.15 and you get 87 knots.
