Food for thought on the dog tag around the neck during skydiving . . . for myself I wouldn't have anything around my neck on a jump. Just one more thing to perhaps snag on a line. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Here's a nice write-up on how some sight their cameras, and the way I choose to do so. That is for big-ways down to 4-ways. If I'm filming tandems I do the parallax thing. http://futurecam.com/sightingIn.html Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

No, but seriously . . . a 'knee walker' is ALOT better than chewing up your arms with crutches. Or better yet, she could try the iWalkfree! It's a pretty awesome device, but tricky to handle if you're not extremely coordinated. I had the inventor ship me one to try out. I got pretty good . . . if I used a cane! Hi guineapiggie, Have to ask, are you just trying to get around the good advice from your previous thread? Here: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_view_flat;post=4074943;page=1;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;mh=25; IMO, as a medical professional, if the doctor gave you his expert advice I'd heed it and do what he says. And yeah, I hate crutches too. Take a look at this 'Knee Walker' and see if it might give you some relief and save your arms: http://www.medical-supplies-equipment-company.com/product/ppf/id/17475/new_prod_full.asp Stay well . . . Saw Discovery and the ISS fly overhead tonight for about 2 minutes each. It was spectacular and amazingly bright in the night sky. Thank you to all the men and women who've served in reaching farther than we ever imagined possible. Looking forward to what is yet to come . . . Most grocery stores have anti-bacterial wipes by the front door for patrons to use to clean the grocery cart, but what would you do about this? http://www.cafemom.com/journals/read/1037841/Holy_Fecal_Matter_A_MUST_SEE Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

The pilots ran down the spine of the fuselage and jumped off the tail. All were safe. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

I do believe the silliness starts around 7AM. And lasts all day long. Kickoff is 5:30 Central. Thanks for the start-time. Got some traditionally yummy food here and am tuning in for the commercials. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Mike, if you want full res pics of what I posted here, or better pictures than what my iPhone took, let me know. Also, feel free to use your own technical terms for the descriptions as I was just shooting off the cuff and probably didn't use the correct terms.

What size is the plug? What type is the stereo pin? (compare it to my pictures above). It is the "low profile" plug. Looks like the one on the left in your last photo. Aha! So: Light can be either green or blue (but has to be blindingly bright) for Cameye II. Larger Plug, Thicker Cord, and Smaller Profile Stereo Pin Base = Cameye II Smaller Plug, Thinner Cord, and Larger Profile Stereo Pin Base = Cameye I Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

You're welcome. One more solidifying fact here. I just played with both Cameyes, with my old TRV22 camera. I remember my Cameye I taking several 'red light blinks' before the light would become solid blue, indicating it was ready to record when I wanted. The Cameye II would immediately go Red-Green when turned on (no blinking hesitation to boot-up). Now I *know* that my Green Light Cameye is the Cameye II. Happy Jumping! Interesting. IMO you have the Cameye I. On another note here: My Green Light Cameye (the one I'm calling Cameye II) has the logo, brighter light, and a thicker cord than my Cameye I. Look at the pictures again. The one on the left (of picture 0379) is the thicker cord, larger plug, and recessed stereo base. Look at picture 0382. Here's the pics. As for the 'lower profile', if this is true, then the Cameye II has the blue light and the Cameye I has the green light. HOWEVER, I remember the Cameye II having a much brighter light, and I cut the tab down to keep from blinding my right (dominate) eye. That light is Green. The Green Light Cameye has the Skytool's Logo on it, as well as the Skytools logo on the back of the stereo plug. Maybe someone could find out when they started putting the logo on their product? The Blue Light Cameye does not have the logo (but has the lower profile). The Green Light Cameye has the logo, however the profile is larger. Makes sense to be larger when it has more computer control, no? Confused yet? I left the first paragraphs in this post instead of deleting them, in case it helps others in deciding which Cameye they have. I'm sure as Hypoxic plays with their Hypeye over the years they'll also have different models as the camera's turn . . . Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Lifting my heavy ass outta the chair and going to try and find my Cameyes. They're somewhere around here, packaged up in a closet. I have both the Cameye I and II. I'll take a look and post some pics in a bit. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

You can do this on a Hypeye but not a Cameye. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Blue vs Green stand-by lights. If memory serves, the Cameye I has the blue, the Cameye II has the green. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Poor Michel. I'm thinking this may be the legacy he'll leave behind. The most fail attempts, with never getting off the ground. next failed attempt in 2011

ebay? Might try Ritz as well. I found a few new CX100's in New York. Ritz shipped them to California for me free of charge. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Flash back! My grandparents had a beautiful house in Pasadena. The house had this same sound/speaker system which was great to use! Also had a central vacuum system (plug the hose into the wall and away you'd go). Man, I miss that house. Can't believe how little they sold it for back in the 70's. If memory serves it was sold for only $250,000. 5 acres and a 2 story 'mansion' with basement and clock tower. I'd love to take a peek at what the new owners did with it. I'm told it's worth a heck of alot more, now. Thanks for the trip down memory lane! Good luck with your adventure! Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
