Well, the official Sony web site provided says that the TRV19 doesn't have a LANC port...nor audio/video input. ...and it has only a black and white viewfinder. Plus the only way to change auto/manual focus is by opening the LCD screen and changing it there. (sigh) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

murrays, How about this quote from the review above..."The DCR-TRV19 also has no microphone in...". Are they blowing smoke here as well, or does this video camera not have ability to record sound? Oh, and btw, the viewfinder sees in only black and white??? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

So, who gets the vote here?? __________________________________________________________ http://www.nctimes.net/news/2001/20011228/wwww.html Man wins through process of elimination ONTARIO (AP) ---- Michael Ackerman won a $500 odd-gift contest through the process of elimination. The Diamond Bar man on Wednesday won the Ontario Mills mall's "What Were They Thinking?" contest for the wackiest Christmas gift. Ackerman's winning entry: a portable urinal for computer addicts unwilling to leave their seats. Ackerman was relieved to give up the odd present, which was donated to the Salvation Army along with other entries. Ackerman got the present in an office gift exchange. "I think I can kind of stagger to the bathroom," he said. "I don't know who can use it or how, but someone will." The Wednesday morning contest included other unusual gifts: A sweat shirt made from recycled lint, multicolored slippers and an ornate candy bowl. Fontana resident Heather Jensen won $250 for her second-place entry, a talking picture frame from her cousin. She wasn't upset about placing second behind Ackerman. "That was the worst," she said of the urinal. "He deserves that (money)." Mall spokeswoman Sue Palacios was philosophical about the portable urinal. "One man's junk is another man's treasure," she said. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

You accomplish that feat and I'll buy you a case of beer when you get to Perris in May! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Eh??!! IMHO, if the cameraflyer isn't in their assigned slot by the time the formation is complete then there won't be picture evidence of the record! Remember, no pictures...it didn't happen. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Interesting indeed. After my first cutaway (on the way down under my reserve) all I was was really upset that now I couldn't complete my full day of skydiving! In fact, I went over to the school there and rented gear for the rest of the day! No fear at all...just calculating how I could get up in the air again and jump! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I can't seem to change my avitar. When I do, the original picture remains, but changed to the 'new' pictures dimensions. I've tried deleting the old avitar before uploading the new one as well, but amazingly my old avitar comes back on screen from somewhere (with new dimensions but the same old picture). Any suggestions? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Mark I thought this as well until I had to contact the San Jose' FSDO last year. In -their- opinion, all jumps in their jurisdiction -required- a 7711-2 filed and approved. And this was for a --very-- Open Field demo. So, even if the FAA says you can, you -might- want to check with the FSDO in the area in which you want to jump and see what they say. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Congrats Lori, what conopy did you use? Did you get your ten in a row in ten? or more? Inquiring minds want to know. Glen Thanks! Got my 10 in a row without having to back up and pass 'go' again! Way cool! All done on my 135. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

The tandem pair pitch out at around 5K. By the time you roll over on your back and get the deployment picture you're only at 4k. You have plenty of time to roll back over on your belly and even sink it down ( or even better track a bit away so you're not below the tandem pair in case of a cutaway) before you dump. So, no, you do not deploy as you roll back over from your back. At least I don't. You also want to get down to the landing area way before the tandem so you can get that beautiful shot of their landing. So, don't deploy too close in altitude to the tandem pair anyway. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Heard that although Perris was winded out today they were jumping at Elsinore. Manifest said the breeze was mild (about 5 mph) there. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
