  1. PLEASE do NOT track away. It is very dangerous to lose sight of each other during the skydive. The group does not know where you are, and the flailer won't have an idea where they are in relation to the group either (see what happened in the 'low man senerio' in the original post). Best senerio is to get out from under the formation enough not to funnel it, turn 90 degrees to the formation and try and recover....try, try, try UNTIL BREAK-OFF TIME! Then track like hell with the rest of the group, into your own air space. I've seen LOTS of scarey things while filming fun-ways... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  2. PLEASE think of your cameraflyer on this point. If you don't track far enough, you could end up killing both them and yourself as well. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  3. Why are you replying to me?! I already know this... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  4. The pictures you show are -not- the TRV22 Dbox. The one for the 19, 22 and 33 is a box that has a top insert for the camera and is closed by a hinge and cable that threads through it. And it's top is square, not round. Your box looks like it might be the one for the TRV38. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  5. A huge congratulations to you and your wife, Rob! Can't wait for the pictures...(and video?). ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  6. If we don't nobody will... Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  7. Yeah, rhino! What's up? I clicked on this morning just to read how ya'll are doing....is there a little rhino yet?
  8. Oh, really?! btw, how does a POPS act, look, fly? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  9. Yeah, Sony will produce the 'same' camera as the 22 in PAL, but will give it another number. Probably 23 or something like that... As for a containment system for your camera, make sure it will fit -your- camera first. IF it is the same size at the 22, Bonehead has one that can be attached to most any helmet. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  10. OK...found the post where skybytch was listed as Tyne Daily? No, no, no....Daisy Duke is by FAR a better choice! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  11. What camera helmet are you planning on jumping there in Australia? And btw, isn't Down Under in PAL format? A 22 won't be of much use there... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  12. Hey, we forgot skybytch!!! (quick before she notices, since she's back in town now!) How about Catherine Bach, Daisy Duke from the Dukes of Hazzard ! ltdiver OMG, I just noticed the web master's e-mail address on this site: mailto:Lost_Sheep2@hotmail.com. Clay???!!!! Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  13. Same here, but in February! 1964 ROCKS! btw, if someone is hitting, or has hit, POPS eligibility, should you buy them a membership to the club? Is that cool or uncool. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  14. Welcome back, Lisa! We missed you BIG time! See you at THE CAMP in 8 days!
  15. He is also a delegate (President of Honour) in the IPC . ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  16. Do some creative video editing before posting it here, though! Seriously though, this is great news! Lot of pictures after he's all cleaned up, k?!!
  17. Saw this movie after Christopher Reeve's accident, and reading his engrossing book "Still Me". Kind of had me misty eyed throughout the whole movie because of this. (bad acting, though...) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  18. Here's the picture!! Night CReW Record! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  19. Cameraflyers! 'Cause you know (I'm told) that if it's not on film it never happened! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  20. I'm sure you'll have customers lining up when you can make this work! (just sent you an e-mail for a source that just might work at getting you those N3 adaptors!). There was a very experienced photographer that just burned his brand new Nikon digital camera this weekend while getting his own adaptor set up and plugged in! Ouch!! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  21. Well, got to see THE photo from this incredible night jump today. Brad really caught the moment! I think I've never seen the sky so black, nor the colors of canopies so much in beautiful contrast as in that picture. Keep checking Brad's web page, Jump Run Productions for updates. Got to sit in the air conditioning and talk shop with Brad for a bit today. He really had his work cut out for him on that jump, but pulled it off flawlessly....just like the 16-way Diamond did. Again, congratulations! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  22. Well, the first requirement is to be able to sit at your computer most all the live long day (and/or night) and post whore your little brains out. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  23. OMG, the weather was horrible today in Southern CA! Hotter than HOT! Must have been over 100 degrees. I escaped to the Bombshelter for an hour or so and just curled up and went to sleep for a bit. The heat exhaustion made me feel sick! (and yes, Gatorade was my friend all day long). I just felt really sorry for those who had to work with teams or tandems/AFF all frickin' day long! Hope they got some kind of compensation to offset the gruel. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  24. What, Mark didn't call you this morning? I specifically directed him to your web page and told him to call you asap about this (-just- after his post went up). Arghh.....Men..... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  25. For those of you who left Perris early, you missed the most awesome visual I've ever seen from the ground! A new unofficial night CReW record! A 16-way Diamond that seemed to fly forever in the full moonlight! For those of us on the ground, we kept trying to pick out jump run and exits (several times believing we saw just that, but it just happened to be twinkling stars or small planes overhead). When the formation was finally spotted, it was a dark inky spot that kept growing overhead, flying south-east right towards the moon. Then it was lit up very brightly by Brad Hood's flash! We knew we had the right spot then, as the whole DZ ooed and awed at the spectacle. THEN the strobe lights were activated and the whole completed formation lit up!! The colors of the canopies were breathtaking, and the Diamond formation kept its trajectory towards the full moon. Brad Hood must have gotten some breathtaking photographs from that, with the moon in the background! Can't wait to see them! Can we say cover of Parachutist, at least?! Congratulations to the new record holders. A 16-way Night CReW Diamond!!! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
