True enough about the bonfire tunes, but you would be surprised at how many of those I listed I've either seen done acoustically or actually done that way. I'm gettin pumped about all this... I'm surfing looking at different DZ's and gear now trying to figure out how much $$$ I'm looking at needing on a monthly basis to get going! I am so ready to get started on this! Cool deal! I did remember one more cool thing - I played a gig in Nashville and the old bass player from Stepphenwolf was there (yeah, the same guy who played Born to be Wild). His bass amp crapped out and he used mine for his show. He was highly complimentary of my "Frankenstein" amp rig.

Ok, here's a partial one. At least I have played these all within the last year or so. I know others (almost all old Metallica, Pantera, Iron Maiden, etc...) but these are the ones I have used in bands lately. The ones in bold are the ones I can sing on if needed, but I prefer to sing only if someone else takes over on bass. See you at a boogie soon I hope!

NAH!! The great thing about playing bass is that you can hit a wrong note anytime just so long as you hit it like you MEAN IT!! Sorry about that! CHINESE BUFFETT was the winner and I actually DID end up eating with a hottie. This chick was going through stuff next to me in line and asked me about some of the things I was getting. She was from a small town here in AR and had never tried this stuff before (she's here starting college and is taking some summer courses to get ready for full time in fall).
