Get this: I just saw a picture of a BASE jumper riding a round (it looked like a PC) in at bridge day. I also saw a round canopy forsale from a base specific manufacture tonite. I never expected that. -e

Cool, Im trying to download it right now. Still planning on doing my AFF in may down your way. Until then im just looking at all the other cool stuff dealing with skydiving. Trying to read as much as possible to make my aff go smooth as possible. Weather up here is starting to really warm up...There goes the snow. Had my last vermont ski trip on tuesday for what will probably be a while. -e

Not the movie your thinking of but Red Skys over Montana is supposed to be good. Its about smokejumpers. Ive never seen the whole thing.(id like to though but its old and no one has it) The one your thinkin of is Firestorm. -e

Ok my crazy friends here at dz.com. Time for another one of my skydiving history questions. Been researchin DB Cooper. So how did he jump this plane.(i know its the only one that could have stairs lowered in flite)What kind of gear etc. Do you think he survived etc. Its kindof an intresting story. Never heard of it being attempted since. I heard they sometimes have airliners at the world freefall convention. anyone ever jump one? -e

Welcome to DZ.com there skanaley. I think you will find the people here extremely friendly and helpful. Afterall they love there sport. PPerhaps the first place you should look is on the dropzone portion of this website. It should give you numbers to places available where you want to learn. You can then get the rest of the info you need. I had an earlier thread on the length of time and well, it depends on you really. Some do it quicker than others. As for whether or not its addicting just read some of these posts!! That will help you with that answer. Thats the best I can give you for now. Anyone else got more info?? -e
