  1. diet pepsi - all I can say is sad but true!!! Olympus - I was wondering when they would come out with an MP3 Player/high quality camera, now all they need to add is the cell phone/PDA/Blackberry and I might buy one. Fly it like you stole it!
  2. shit missed the skydiving commercial cause I was putting on the cute pants I got today when I was snowboarding. Fly it like you stole it!
  3. If you start running now you may get enough of a head start on Derek, but he is wiley. He will just wait at your house so he can kick you ass. Fly it like you stole it!
  4. Well at least Vin was eye candy, this guy is so not all that. I did like the mustang comercial.....I got a good laugh. btw...is it bad I'm only watching the game for the commercials.....I could careless about the game. Fly it like you stole it!
  5. Hmmm...I had to go look for him. He is currently laying on a pile of dirty clothes in the closet licking himself. I respected his privacy and didn't take a picture. Fly it like you stole it!
  6. How many yuppies and wanna-be's bought an H2? Same question. Don't they have an H3 coming out to fit the rest of the wanna-be market? Fly it like you stole it!
  7. Hey , did anyone else notice that the cat gets the blanket, and not the dog? Pretty clear evidence of which critter is the toughest. Don't let that picture fool you, Fox will chase Mem at the drop of the hat. Mem is a runner and always has an escape plan when Fox is in the same room with him. Plus, Fox will attack Mem if he claws the furniture, now to figure out how to train the next dog to do that. btw...who do you think really is in charge in this house. Fly it like you stole it!
  8. You are right the sound card method wouldn't work. Not sure the exact setup vonage uses, but the version my company uses you would need to have a sniffer set up on your computer that reads the packets being sent to your phones IP address then it would have to decode them. Not saying it can't be done, but it won't be a simple program. Fly it like you stole it!
  9. Nope wasn't expecting true accuracy, but it was about $30,000 off from what my company thought the cost of living in CO was. What my company thought was even a bit low when you add in the increased cost of gas, food and recreation. That is why I said take it with a grain of salt. Guess I should have added to ask people in that area what they are paying for housing and such. Fly it like you stole it!
  10. Another advantage for the dog is when you go out of town and get a pet sitter, people don't know you are gone. Dog is still there, papers and mail have been brought in, plants watered......everything looks normal. Current dog - German Shepard/Blue Heeler X - 50 lbs with a loud bark Next dog - Belgian Malinois - 50-60 lbs with a loud bark. Fly it like you stole it!
  11. Take that web page with a grain of salt. It says I can get by making less money here in broomfield CO (just northwest of Denver) than I could in Houston TX. It also says that you need to make less money to live in Napa CA than living in Fairfield CA. Let's just say that is not quite accurate. Fly it like you stole it!
  12. Remember that guy last year who killed his neighbor who was on his doorstep yelling him. I'm not even sure if the door was open, but he wasn't charged because of the "Make My Day" law. He said he felt threatened and that was enough to get him off. Story here http://www.9news.com/storyfull.aspx?storyid=20786 btw...if the intruder gets past the dog in my house I will use the gun, because that means they mean business. Fly it like you stole it!
  13. *sigh* 116 lbs 22% body fat Starting next week I'm upping my workout schedule from 3 days a week to 4. Fly it like you stole it!
  14. ok, using what you have on hand. 2 packages Blueberry jello 1 1/2 Apple Smirnoffs 1/2 midori After looking at your jello choices, either would work with the above combo. Fly it like you stole it!
  15. 2 cups water 2 cups yummy stuff 2 packages of jello. Margarita Jell-O Shots Lime Jell-O - 2 small packages, or 1 large package 2 cups boiling water 1 1/3 cups Tequila 2/3 cup triple Sec The Watermelon ones are good too, :-) Watermelon Jell-O 1 1/2 cup Vodka 1/2 cup Apple Pucker Sunshine Pineapple Jell-O 1 1/2 cups malibu rum 1/2 cup pineapple juice Blue Skies are good Blue Berry Jell-O 1 1/4 cups malibu rum 1/2 cup Blue Curacou 1/4 cup pineapple juice And, of course, Purple Angles. :-) Grape Jell-O 1 1/4 cups vodka 1/2 cup raspberry liquor 1/4 cup cran-grape or cran-raspberry So far eveyone has said, "But it didn't taste like I should be this drunk" There are more, but these are the only ones I already had written up. Fly it like you stole it!
  16. It's not that odd, I'm the same way right foot dominant, but ride left foot forward. What I do notice is that I manuver the board with my rear leg, while the front one deals with the terain. I'm probably not explaining this very well, but anyway everyone I talk to says stear with your front foot which just doesn't work for me. Fly it like you stole it!
  17. Bwahahahaha.....that is good shit!!! Fly it like you stole it!
  18. You just want to be part of my toy box don't you. Fly it like you stole it!
  19. I'm with you AD, every since I got my pro-track and jump-track software I just download my jumps every weekend and don't worry about the log book. When going to boogies I print out the last page or so of jumps and take that with me to the boogie. If need be Derek will sign the bottom of the page. So far I haven't had a problem with it, but I can see how a DZ that is not party of the computer age would probably not accept it. Of course in that case I would tell them to have a nice day and go do something thing else. I guess I'm at that point in my jumping career that I don't really care if I jump or not.
  20. Hey! It's not fair to hold it against us just because we made a bad decision when choosing a career in college! *hugs* it's ok, I was poking fun at myself since I haven an engineering degree also. Fly it like you stole it!
  21. Trust me once you start tossing stuff, it becomes liberating and hard to stop. I now once a year go through all my clothes and toss the ones I haven't worn in the last year. Some things like suits of course are exempt, but regular shirts and pants.....bye bye. Every room in the house gets a once over also and things get tossed, magazines older than a month good bye unless they have something in them I really want to re-read, then I tear out those pages and put them in a binder. Another way to save space is DVDs and CDs remove them from thier case and put them in DVD and CD binders. They comes with slots big enough to hold your CD and DVD covers. If you are trying to move into an RV be very critical, think of the space you have and the amount of space that you need for your stuff and then start purging until it all fits. Do something like if I keep one bobble head then I have to toss two others. Fly it like you stole it!
  22. Like someone said if you sleep with a new one every weekend people will talk, if you act like you want to sleep with a new one every weekend people will talk. You can do boytoy safely, but you have to be careful who you pick to be your toy. Hang out and listen for guys talking about their conqests at the last DZ boogie then cross them off your list. 1st rule of toys, they are ment to be seen and not heard. I've had toys that lasted years, and I've had serious commitment. My pookiebear and I have been together almost 4 years and he is wonderful, while he doesn't skydive anymore he is into enough other activities that if I wanted to jump it wouldn't be an issue. I'm very glad I didn't listen to advice like the one guy who said to never date from the DZ pool, otherwise I'd be with some boring engineer. *BLAH* Fly it like you stole it!
  23. Amen, having just had layoffs I know several hundred people who would love to be in your position. Fly it like you stole it!
  24. That'd require driving about 60 miles round trip. Right now I can just about afford the gas to get myself to and from work until next payday... Don't we have any DZ.commers in the SAC area that can do a drive by photo shoot? Fly it like you stole it!
  25. Have you noticed that any fabric softener makes your towel -alot- less able to absorb? ltdiver I read somewhere that is exactly what happens if you use a fabric softener on your towels! J Yep it closes up the "pores" in the material, that is why you are not supposed to use any kind of fabric softener with fleece and performance fabrics. It stops it's ability to breath.
