  1. (I'm going to practice "throwing a baseball" in the meantime.) Think of throwing a "Dart" instead of a baseball.
  2. "I know that the D-Bag that I have has a strap that you should anchor to something solid for "just in case" ( the holder drops it ). I guess it could work both ways." That makes sense!
  3. Wow! I think I remember reading the story of that jump a few years ago on the BB, good to see some pictures of it and your positive outlook at the hospital! I've been thinking about the picture of the person holding the Direct Bag, I understand how they work but have never seen one. I was always under the impression the person just makes a strong grip on the loops or handles instead of wrapping them around the wrists. I know it's a long shot but what if for some unforeseen reason the canopy snags or jams up in the bag, it could potentially pull the person holding the bag over the edge? I'm sure it's not very likely but you never know. That would not be a pleasant situation.
  4. "Must be a lot of them in this part of the US (southeast). If I'm out roamin around in the woods (for some reason), I'll stand out more in city gear like jeans or whatever -- camo is expected. In town, jeans would be fine, although there's a lot of camo in town, too. People here like to advertise that they're a hunter/outdoorsman or whatever" I'm not saying camo cant' be acceptable attire for everyday life, out in the woods or in town. I was just having fun with the "weirdo part"
  5. I agree about not wearing camo (unless you are a hunter, militia, weirdo, etc...)
  6. My 0.2 if there is this much discussion over these little black bands than why bother even having a discusion over them, DON'T use them.
  7. cool video, a lot of D-bag induced line twists though. Would have been nice to see some good carnage on more modern base gear.
  8. I know someone with a big chunk of change and is very serious about building a wind tunnel here in the mid Atlantic area. Me being the only skydiver he knows he asked me to start digging up some info for him about how to get a project like this started. Any help would be great. Scott sjregina123@yahoo.com
