Hello all I want to thank Jay, Damian, and Ben of Adrenaline Exploits for a great trip to the biggest and narliest wall in México. Also Avery ,Brian, Jason, and Brice for a great time and spectacular jumps we did. Avery, Brice, Jason, Brian and myself were there for the first time last week , and we jumped many times from this 953 mt wall, the visuals are like nothing I have ever seen before, this is a great place. The landing area is very small and you really have to work to land inside, If you land outside of the perimeter you might land in what we call "Traumatown " on one side , and "ER alley" on the other . Fortunately nobody got hurt in our trip. This is not a place for beginners I wouldn´t recommend that, you can get seriously hurt in this wall. The jumps were awesome Avery flied his Wingsuit very close to the wall , this is a canyon so you can´t go straight or you might hit the wall on the other side , even with Phoenix fly pants we were making it to the other side of the canyon so we had to start flying in a pattern which gave great visuals, Brian , Brice, Jason,Damian Jay and I were doing aerials, tracking dives, 3 ways, etcc.. attached are some images of how close to the wall we were flying (and yes this was on purpose) Hope you like them !! If you guys want to go to this place contact Jay or Damian , this is not a place where you can go by yourself and jump , the hike out takes forever so a Helicopter is really necessary ,especially if things go wrong and you get hurt ,if there is no Heli you are done Once again thank you guys for a wonderful time and the best jumps of my life (this is my favorite place so far) Right now there is a second trip going on I hope they have a great time there too. Personally I think PCA from a bridge is the safest way for a new jumper , I have taught how to Base jump a few guys from my country , and I have done PCA´s on their first jumps and that has worked great. Mis 2 pesos . Gabo

Hello Tom I have jumped many times in the Oakley SI boots, they are very confortable but the ankle support is not very stiff , they are not water proof , I also jump in Lowe Boots they have a very good ankle support and are water proof ,but the boot I choose to use depends on the trekking and landing area I am using . Hope this helps . Gabo

*** --------------------------------------- Ha ha , And I thought I was the only one that used that line succesfully . Two years ago I wanted to jump from a B in Monterrey Mexico and a friend of mine and I came up with this idea , we introduced ourselves as Helipad inspectors at the front desk , we flashed them our pilot´s licence and we were escorted to the Helipad. Once there my friend (which was just ground crew ) said to the security guard that he forgot his camera in his car , so they went down , I stayed there with my stash bag and by the time he got out of the Building I was ready . I jumped and they didnt even noticed what happened . Like they say " Ignorance is Bliss" Gabo

Thank you . On this jump It was with the indirect slider control , the direct slider control I have only used it when I have more than 8 second delays . Gabriel
-
Hello Yes the lines were not twisted in any way , I personally checked the packing , hwat do you mean by "direct slider control"? I leraned to pack from a Mexican friend and everything was in Spanish and I don´t know what that means, can you explain ? Thank you

Hey Ray It was a slow spinner as you say ,also he was trying to control the canopy but didn´t have enough time to unstow the brakes , the problem was that after he landed safely on top of a big bush with many branches and such we had a hard time getting the canopy untangled from the bush , so after that we couldn´t see the tension knot or anything wrong with the lines , as you say on the last pic the slider finally is all the way down but the canopy wasn´t flying it was sinking fast . I checked the canopy and found nothing wrong so I jumped it (over 7 times now) and it worked fine , this is a canopy that has no more than 30 jumps so it is almost new , the lines are also in good condition . I think my friend was lucky ,cause he didn´t have scratches or bruises after that . Be safe Gabriel

Hey Kevin My friend was jumping from one of the the towers that hold the tension cables above the road, it´s a 670 ft jump . See you soon Kevin, Gabriel

Hello All I just wanted to share these pics of a friend of mine who had apparently a tension knot on a Bridge jump last week and after this an object strike , it was a slider up jump with 4.5 seconds of delay ,he didn´t have canopie control and he had a slight left turn ,the canopy was sinking very fast . My friend was lucky and landed on a bush without hurting himself. The pictures are not high res. cause they were taken from a video. If anybody has a similar experience please share .

I had a great time also , thanks to all the people involved in this great event . I met a lot of great people , it was also a learning experience and I also had a chance to try the new Phoenix pants and I could tell there is a lot of difference. Next year I will attend again for sure ( hopefully the weather will be better) . Gabriel -
I would like to get an S3 but I haven´t found the order form anywhere , can anyone email it to me . Thank you very much gruiz@oakley.com
-
Thank you Jason The things you described are just what I have been trying to figure out , I have only jumped this canopie for around 30 jumps so far since it is almost new , but the other day I tried to correct a 180 with the front and couldn´t so I used the toggle instead it worked fine but I couldn´t believe how hard the front riser could get . I will continue practicing my 180´s starting in half brakes , with time I know I´ll nail some very looooong swoops . So far my swoops have been great but I know that the performance of my canopie can do a lot more

Hi this post is to get information on how to fly the Vx I recently started jumping a VX 94 and I noticed how different it feels compared to other high performance parachutes I have jumped . Like the front riser pressure . What I would like to know from other people jumping VX is how they make their setup or maneouver prior to the swoop . I appreciate any info or tips you can give me .
