a Canadian Apology to the United States (hillarious)
Nevets replied to goose491's topic in The Bonfire
I'm Canadian, and I got this e-mail a few days ago and was disgusted. I do realize that it is a joke, but it's timing is less than perfect. I agree with some of the other comments made in this thread. Wait until we get attacked by terrorists one day, then all of a sudden the states will be our best friend. The USA will help us because they always do come to help a nation in need, even though they face ridicule from everyone else after the fact. But wait, we won't get attacked by terrorists because it is in Canada that they set up shop!!! Get a grip and don't post such stupid things in a public forum. If YOU think its funny forward it to some of your other narrow-minded friends. STEVE -

Hey, at least you take your truck off-road, not like so many other truck/suv owners out there that lift their trucks and add all sorts of accessories to drive it downtown, avoiding the puddles as they go. Way to go! wrecking stuff is always fun till it comes time to pay the repair bills.

I'm from Canada, and I would move to the USA.

We had it in Canada, but it must have been at least 7-8 years ago, I forgot abouth that stuff. It was kinda cool, but didn't taste that great.

I again have to agree with what Dave and Michelle said. I really don't want to come across like I'm bashing your religion (because I'm not). However, as stated my Dave and Michelle nothing was done to the offending priests during the churches moral crisis, but now they want to speak out about other moral issues. I don't know?

I saw that show as well. Some of the guys were jumping rounds. He did hit pretty hard. Do you BASE guys jump with rounds very often? By the way the show was 'what were they thinking'... ...I think.

I didn't read all of the replies on this topic, but I have to disagree with you. Supply and demand is what creates and moves the price of fuel (and all other commodities). I want a new rig but they are expensive.. lets "investigate"... when its all said and done, how much more does it really cost you to fuel up? a couple of extra bucks? -also just my opinion but if a person can afford to skydive then a rise in the cost of fuel shouldn't said you running around freaking out. If your budget runs that close than I guess you have 1-2 less jumps a month to pay for your expensive gas. Just my$0.02

I think you should quietly look into things. I don't have time to read all the other posts but I saw a lot of 'no don't do that', or 'if you trust eachother...', BLAH BLAH BLAH. Time is ticking and you don't have enough time to really sort things out all the time. Check up on her and the second she crosses the line cut away.

As long as your dad wasn't the star.

We blew up lots of shit hills, however the funniest thing we did with a firecracker was to put it in the butter dish at a friends house. We had his little brother light the fuse so "we didn't do it". It took about 10 days to see the true extent of our prank, when the butter that was stuck to ceilings and wall in every room within sight of the kitchen turned brown... We may as well have blown up a pile of shit on the kitchen table. His mom never did question why there was butter on the ceiling of the family room.

Hey! I thought you said hands.

Just drink your pop flat. I used to set a glass out at night so it was warm and flat in the morning. Some people like coffee in the morning, i used to prefer warm flat POP(yes its pop).

Try regular dish soap. You could use shampoo, I had to do that on vacation and it left my clothes smelling like a hair salon, for a girl that ain't bad.

I think you covered the main ones. While looking to buy gear I tried to find any site I could but I always came back to Enclave, Ebay, or the MORE than average DZ.com

Thanks for the advice guys (and gal). I've been trying to talk her out of the printer but she really wants one. She says she is only going to print the odd picture on it and get most of them printed in store. I'm sure she will once she starts buying ink cartridges. The other weekend I had to drop of 30 rolls of film for her(she took them on a four day getaway). Right now she takes2-3 pictures of everything so that she gets a good one, then she gets 2-3 copies made!!! I'm hoping that the digital will prevent her from getting 6-8 pictures of the same thing since she can choose which ones to develop. Anyhow thanks again.

Hey guys I need a little help. I'm buying a digital camera and printer for my mother-in-law (of all people). Anyhow, I think we have settled on a camera (Sony FC-717, 5MegaPixel, 5X zoom), But my real question is regarding the printer. We need to buy a good enough printer to support the camera but i don't want to go overboard, so if anyone can suggest something please do. Also, how many 4x6 pictures can someone expect to get out of an ink cartridge. Thanks
