    do as amazon said as far as rolling the nose adn tail. i owned a conquest and it spanked me on alot of openings until i found out to do that with the nose then it was sweet from there out.

    i think i would have to agree with talonsky on this one. demo all that you can. i bought a stiletto because i heard they were so good but now i wish i would have demoed cause i want a cf2 now.

    this may be a stupid question but what are you doing to the nose? the tail? ive got about 20 jumps on a viper 120 and i thought the openings were sweet, not to long but not to short. all i did was stick the nose in about 1/4 to 1/2 way and put a couple rolls in the tail and that was it.

    i was asked today to shoot video for a team for nationals and i was wondering if there is a jump number restriction. i have heard 500 but am not sure. i have just over 450 and if it is 500 its gonna suck to be me

    It all really depends on the dropzone and what they want to allow. i know where i jump jyou have to have a "C" license to land on the beach. And as it relates to the other thread, you have to have your C license, not just meet the requirements.

    yea its kinda like that in my alg./trig. class right now. But for some reason i always fall asleep before i can finish.

    ive got about ten jumps on what used to be called the hc-20 and i loved it. the only prob now is i have to get it replace cuase i had a CRW wrap last weekend with it on my head and i had to cut it away b/c it was the only thing holding me in the wrap. but it is an awesome camera to do video with.

    i keep my camera on manual focus and for some reason my camera went way out of focus and the whole freefall was nothing but a blur. ive jumped without the camera being on but that was before i got a cameye. i also had the battery die on me just before takeoff, and the bad thing about that was my other battery was dead and i thought i had it on the charger but it wasnt.

    at my dz we consider anyone pulling above 4 a high puller and put them in front of students. anything 4 or below just hop in the line up where you belong. at my dz we are just getting an otter this summer and we did some research and found that most dz's do flat flyers(biggest to smallest) ff's(biggest to smallest) high pullers students tandems tandem with video birdman/skyboards

    i believe it was 12 in one day with only a 182 flying. oh yea i was also the packer that day. not to bad but i definately plan on breaking that this summer with our otter and flying video.

    ive got one of those but instead of jumping he is on a skateboard. my dad got it for me at the ron jons surfshop in cocoa beach, fla. i think i would rather have that one though, that one is much cooler

    skydive coastal carolinas in southport, nc has a great view. we are about a mile from the beach and if you have your C license you can jump the beach. right now we are relocated at wallace, nc, but we should be going back to southport within the next couple weekends. so if your heading up this way check us out. www.skydivecoastalcarolinas.com

    i just got my new camera today and cant wait to jump it. the only problem is i wont be able to jump it this weekend cuase i wont be jumping. i got a sony dcr-hc20. this camera is nice im just hoping it works great for videoing tandems.

    i have a little loop of velcro sewn on all my jumpsuits to hold the slider down. all it is is a piece of webbing with a strip of pile velcro on one end and some hook velcro on the other end with nothing in the middle. i then sewed the middle of it to the jumpsuit. it only took me about an hour to do that to 5 different suits

    i have searched the forums and found threads but no one has answered the questions i wanted answered so i will ask them. is the hc20 compatible with a cameye? is anyone making a box for the hc20 yet? thats all i've got for now. thanks for the help.

    dont take this for granted but this is what i believe on that topic. i think you should get a suit that benefits your fall rate. if you have a fast fall rate get a baggy suit and if you have a slow one get a not so baggy suit. i jump with a not so baggy suit because im a smaller guy and dont have a fast fall rate. the

    dont let this dream run you away from skydiving. ive got a friend who had a dream that he had a mal and when he went to pull his reserve the sledge ball on his reserve ripcord broke off and by the time he was able to pull the cord he says he remembered looking at teh ground really close and having a sharp pain in his legs then he woke up. needless to say he never jumped again and this was over a year ago and ive tried getting him to jump but he just wont do it. please dont let that dream scare you
