    I've never been to empuria, so could be talking out of my arse here, but i've heard they have an interesting landing area which can be tricky (only from what i've heard), which may not be great as a student. If you're cool for traveling i can definately recommend the beautiful Sebastain in florida. My most favourite DZ in the world. The views are amazing, the people rock, the landing area is huge, the training is second to none and the parties are awesome!

    thanks everyone for your helpful replies... Katie, my holiday is fixed, cant remember the exact dates, but the ones i mentioned are pretty much in there somewhere. Looks like theres not much going on Oh, jake, the weather here is shitty, the jumps are over priced and the UK sucks... hence why i like coming to the states

    Ok, i'm probably about to buy a brand spanking new suit. I was going to buy the S3, but then someone mentioned hanging on for the s5??     Ok, i definately cant afford it, but... is there anything happening between 28th March and 6/7th April that i should be at? possibly containing wingsuits... (with loaners) needs to be warm and shed loads of jumping. Also if anyone has a spare bed i'd be mucho grateful...     been there done that... i dont think its an uncommon dream round these parts. Last time i had it, i had a total, never managed to get a canopy above my head, hit the ground... stood up, dusted my self down, then hung my head in shame as i walked to the packing shed hoping no one had seen me!     yeah dude, your missing the point... the pro tools software will not work without an input/output device. once you've made your mixes, you'll probably want to listen to them? or record them out to DAT/MD/CDR etc... unles you've spent some serious dollar the outputs on the M Box will be better than your PC/Mac's. What if you found a sample on a record or something and you wanted to use it? you'd need the inputs.. When you buy the M Box, you get both the input/output box AND pro tools LE (the software) you need both for it to work. If you have the extra dollar, i recomend the MBOX factory bundle. Its the same hardware software, but you get some extra plugins (effects) for only a bit more, but if you bought them seperately they would cost you a lot more.     Yup, thats the shizzle. The software needs a hardware element to run. M Box is the most basic version you can buy which is esentially a usb interface with 2 in and 2 out. The software version it runs is LE, the most cut down version of tools. Its still very powerful though and contains many of the functions that the bigger systems run including a good set of effects plugins and a very handy time stretch facility (very good if your planning on making bootlegs) Better still, pro tools is used pretty much as standard in the music/broadcast industry so learning it is no bad thing.     spend the cash and buy yourself pro tools. They have a bottom of the range system called the M Box which will happily do all the stuff you mentioned.
