    Dude, take a step back and stop being so angry at life. This is the real world. The media have to dramatise things to make them appeal to a market. Of course when it comes to skydiving they have an easy target, but i think this programme was no where near as dramatic as i was expecting. Yes through the programme they referred to the girl as falling at 120mph, because at that point in the narrative, that was the evidence they had. Towards the end they then proved this wrong, even showing how by using a wind tunnel! Its called narrative structure. If they just presented all the information from the off there would be no programme. I actually think she was very positive. Anyone who heard her account of her first free fall would agree.     How did i ever miss this? a few days ago a friend lent me series one on DVD... well i mainlined that in 2 days, then had to buy series 2... 2 and a half days later and i'm now shaking again. My friend was supposed to bring up series 3 yesterday, but he forgot. Bastard. it's like $100 in the shops, so it looks like i'll just have to wait. Holy shit 24 is the shit!     Rich because... the unit is £2600 It may mention DVD on that list, but i work in the broadcast industry and can assure that the recording ability is definately up to scratch. The connector on the on the unit is for a loom, not the actual plug in bits. The loom then provides cam inputs, audio inputs etc, on/off.. things like that. It really is a neat peice of kit

    For those camera flyers who have more money than sense, and are interested in broadcast quality (i'm sure i saw someone mention it earlier in a thread) solid state recording thats tiny, check this out... http://www.ovation.co.uk/FlashBack/FlashBack.html They're a bit bigger than credit card sized and about the thickness of a CD case. Very, very impressive stuff. Just hook up your sources (cam, audio etc) hit record and you're off. Then take the card out, put it in your laptop and its all ready to go. Very neat...

    This also wont work at Headcorn, you have to have proof of being a BPA member. They wont deal with it for you. I've just faxed off my membership details.. so i'll see what happens.
