yes i agree its dangerours, but then there are some things which can be done to make it less dangerous. I dont know what infomation you guys are getting over there, but i've seen footage of the launch. There were bits falling off the god damn shuttle even before it was airbourne. NASA last year fired 5 of its 9 safety advisors, with one of their top safety people resigning in protest. They warned that this could happen. They knew the shuttle was in bad condition.
