    Learning to Pro-Pack frustrated me..............I learned to Flat-Pack in no time instead.........great openings............just made better/quicker sense to me.

    Last November I saw a skydiving sign near/at an airport from the road as I was traveling home from out-of-town. Upon seeing that sign, I told myself I would like to do that once just to see what it was like. I did a tandem (with no thoughts of going further) that weekend............the rest is history.

    No, I wouldn't. I trust my Cypress but only as a backup..................so it would be extremely hard to transition my trust (for one jump) as the only opening device I have........regardless of money.

    Hell Yeah...........if you haven't jumped with the Queen, you have no idea what you are missing. Come out to West Point, enjoy jumping out of a CASA, meet the Queen, and party with some great people. I look forward to seeing you there!.

    Muenkel - I would love to meet you...........seemed like a true, down-to-earth type of person. I've met Bkdice - we shared a ride to altitude once...both worrying about this one guy blowing chunks all over the place...........a beautiful person. I've met and come to know Luna......I can't say enough about this gal.......truly have become a good friend. You won't met a real deal as her everyday. Skymama - hell yes I would like to meet her....sexy as all get out and is not afraid to speak her mind. SkymonkeyOne - knows his shit, doesn't take any shit and has solid advice. VanillaSkyGirl - a truely thoughtful and caring person. A few others......too numerous to list.

    I was seriously thinking about buying one........the price is great...........but price has bitten me in the ass relative to my Sapphire purchase. I just ordered an Alti III due to its reputation and to insure I made a "quality" purchase. I just couldn't find enough information to make an informed descison "ms?" on by the Evolution. Great looking altimeters......just wish I knew more. Edited to add: The Evolution carries a greater price tag than I had orginally thought.........thus price isn't a factor, but rather a lack of info.

    We were facing each other and maintaining a few feet between us. Either he or I were backsliding and developed quite a distance between us. Out of no where, he shot past me (& closely over top) like a bat out of hell............we're not talking closing distance to dock, we're talking major tracking/swooping or whatever he did. He shot past several yards and the last I looked (which was quickly), he didn't slow down.

    I thought I wasn't going to make it back, also, this past Saturday due to tracking. I was doing a two-way with another "low jump number" jumper and he scared me so damn bad at 7,000, I tracked as fast and as far away from him that I could. I dumped between 3,500 and 4,000 and knew that I wouldn't make it back. I lucked out.................didn't have the altitude for a nice, pretty landing pattern, but I did end up about 5 meters from the peas...........extremely lucky.

    I have a used PD280 F111 with over 400 jumps on it, the flare is a little weak.........but still useable.

    Pretty decent...........jumped from a Porter for the first time (BEER).....prop blast was pretty decent LOL. My first Mindwarp (BEER) arrived Saturday. Sunday, did my first (BEER) two-way relativity "drill" with another fast faller - 180's, 360's, etc. That, so far, is the most fun I've ever experience from a jump.
