Just an update on that horrible weather we are having according to a certain someone. The rain cleared and there was not a cloud in the sky when I left work. It was in the 70's as well. I have been in several car accidents where the seatbelt saved my ASS! Once in 1980 or so My Mother was Driving and when she hit the brakes they locked up and we went sliding all over the place because the road was wet. We ended up hitting a light pole backwards. Spring Break 1988 I was checking out the scenery and rearended these guys. I was not going that fast but my friend who refused to wear the seatbelt hit the windsheild with his head and his right arm was sliced open by the side mirror. Oh and his head was cut open as well. His knees left an impression in the dashboard. Driving home from Oklahoma 1990 I fell asleep and rolled my car. I was hanging upside down in the seatbelt. Once again not a scratch on me. The car was totalled. 1997 I was driving too fast and the tires went off the pavement which then caused me to lose control and wreck. NOt a scratch on me. $3000 in damage to vehicle. 1998 on my Birthday I took too much Nyquill and once again fell asleep at the wheel. I hit a tree at approximately 50MPH. This one messed me up a little but if I had not had my seatbelt on I would have been dead for sure. I have pictures of this one. Maybe I will scan them and try to post them.
