    Just for the point : UN is here BECAUSE we are all different, have different backgrounds and different thoughts on things. UN is here BECAUSE eventhough we are different we share common interests. I am sick of those Frenchs who complain all the time and think they're better than everyone else and I am sick of those Americans who complain all the time and think they're better then everyone else. This is because we are different that there is a balance in the world. If we were all the same and I had to choose, I will have a hard time to pick between the skinny-ass-smelly-complaining-whothinktheyhavethebestculture French and the fat-ass-arogant-whothinksFrancehasnomicrowaves American.     I can buy any type of car, but I will still be limited to the speed limits... I think we should do the same with canopies: you can buy the canopy you want, but you cannot swoop faster than 30mph.

    I shot video for a female tandem student yesterday. Looking at my camera helmet she asked me: "So what is it that you put in your mouth to take pictures? Is it big?" showing her the tongue switch... "that's it??? it is so small... I really thought it was going to be bigger". I don't see why it was funny but everybody laught around us Flip

    We should discuss that in another thead. I'll just add that it is always easier to criticize than to act (Don't take it personally, I don't know you, what you do, what you've done etc... just saying). They are working on constantly improving their programs and like always, some people like it and some people don't. It doesn't mean they are worthless. Flip

    Having the power or not over DZs is one thing, but you cannot say they are worthless. They set a standard of training and safety and are a political representation for us. Flip

    If I understand correctly: They basically do whaterver they want AS LONG AS they don't call their program "AFF", their DZ "USPA DZ" and their instructors "AFF Jumpmasters". Right? Flip

    It depends: -if I spend a lot of time for the ground training -if I'm gonna do more than one coach jump with the student -if I use my video camera to film the student -if I'm in a good mood -if I like the student If it is someone I don't know at all and he just want to do one jump he'll pay for slot plus $20. Most of the time though, I'll just jump for nothing or just the slot, especially if the student is broke. No rules, just depends... I am only talking about cat G, H and refreshers though... any other 2 ways I do is just for fun, even if there is training... Flip
