Oh no way. Go 4 it.

And an alarm clock. . .

Having worked on committees (as most of us have, I'm sure) I can only imagine some of the debates that went on with this risk assessment test and how the questions should be worded.
-
Sounds like you're good to go.

Reminds me of that old joke: Society lady hears from the doctor that her daughter has contracted a "social disease". She asks "Is it possible she caught it on a public toilet seat?" The doc replies "Oh yes, absolutely." The matron was quite relieved until the doctor added "But the guy would have probably gotten a charlie horse."

I did some impromptu, very stupid rock climbing as a teenager. Should have been killed a couple of times. Totally ruined that sport and heights for me.

Seems like there should be some way to get 100! So my 32 is below the median. Sounds okay to me, esp. since 5 points were for no Hop & Pops. I still think the scale could be refined, such as finer gradations in wing loading and number of jumps. Should be double points for over 2.0 loading.

Well, you didn't win a trip to Plaster City or a 2 week stay in the hospital.
-
Yeah, and my almost 6K jumps counts the same as having 2000. My wingloading is just a shade over 1.3, but that range goes from 1.3 to 1.7, a rather large range. I think some of the metrics could be finer spaced.

Still rockin' the guns? Been jumping much?

http://www.dropzone.com/safety/Canopy_Control/When_Should_You_Upsize_Your_Canopy_1009.html Nice article by Melissa, Bary and Jason. The risk calculator is compliments of the USPA. Somehow I scored a 32, though. Thought I'd do a little better than that. Watch out, I'm dangerous.

That's not all you could do on the packing tables.

That's what I'll do when I die.

No, I'm with ya. I'm just saying discussing regs with people who don't know how to diagram a sentence can be a Sisyphian task.

Difference between jumping now and then

Good form. You've done it a few times, eh? -
How many hours do you have arguing the finer points of FAR's? I know we had ATC manual discussions that could go on forever.

Are you a Seattle jumper already?

Yeah, when you were geared up, you were geared up. Heavy backpack, reserve with belly band cinched nice and tight, waddle/rattle when you walked to the plane. Oh, watch those handles sticking out everywhere. -
I've seen that too. I'm proud to say my home DZ tries hard to keep fun jumpers in the air as well as the student loads. Having a Super Otter and Super Caravan probably helps.

Yep. I can think of a lot of women I'd like to see in zero-G. I think Vskydiver would look cool with her hair all floating around like that.

Not too many people get in the tub with their clothes on, right?
