You can get birman corners if you ask. It's just not an advertised option yet.
-
enjoy your drugs. I hope they yell at you a bit at that other drop zone, like we did here at home We like our trees for height reference.

Makes good sense doesn't? The more info you get on this the less sense it makes.

Long story short. The county and a few locals are trying to shut Kaposin Air Sports down because they have been too successful and grown too big. It seems they are making headway

I was at the hearing, and live here full time. The judge ruled that activity was to return to that of 1980. Which at somepoint it was recorded that there was 39 load in a three month time. As of now we are aloud 156 take off and landing per year. As of now there is no difference between a cesna load of 4 and and Otter load of 23. We are trying to make each load count, but as of now it is business as usual until further notice. As always if you show up they will get you in the air. We have put up cesna and Otter loads since the hearing. There is another hearing on June 11 to settle more detail of that ruling and hopefully get a reconsideration.

Damn that looks good!

I have a container built for a 150 and a crossfire 119 in there right now and it fits really well. A little soft but snug enough to go full speed in any position.

Hell no. we all know the risks & chose to put ourselves in harms way. Besides who ever told you there are guarantee's in life? -
Here's one for Hookit

I think people that order all black rigs should have thier head examined. Live a little and splash some color on your back.

Who is picking up the bill?

More effective marketing (at least what would attract me) would be for the manufacture to show up at a dz's around the country with demo's and I know some do that and they should do more of it. It sold me on the Odyssey. Judy Damn I wish we could afford to do that. -
Here is my Rig and a couple others from around the shop.

Nice Looking rig. Does this look familiar?

Lou, I would recommend cordura for your backpad and legstraps. Most people who order para-pak have had it before or do alot of RW. It comes down to personal preference. Try on a few rigs with both and see what you like better. As far as durability is concerned, I wouldn't base your decision on it. These are two places on the rig that don't get alot of wear and tear. Lets say I have never seen a rig come back because the parapak has not held up well. it will last as long as your rig. Type-17 with mini rings is the way to go for most people. I would say if your of average height weight go with the 17-mini's. You might want to sell this rig in a few seasons and get another, having what most people want might help this hold it's value longer. Congrads on your soon to be new rig.

Let's not get too upset. If you know what it like to work in this industry, you would realize these are not mass produced items. These are hand made by a crew of as small as four people. working for next to nothing with no benefits. We do this because we love it. some things are out of our control, like materials. we don't have the bank roll to stock pile some of the things that make up your rig. sometimes people get sick, sometimes shit just happens. Remember the delivery times are ESTIMATES. Try not to over react to a delay. We realize you are exited to get your new toy, but bad mouthing a small company's in a very small comunity (like ours) it not the way to go. I know you didn't orders your rig through the company I work for. but keep these things in mind before you start freaking out and trash talking a company in a industry you don't understand

Not does, but can. I’d be willing to bet I can make a canopy open hard with a small PC and then make the same canopy open soft with a large PC. I'd be willing to bet the same
-
I think it can, in some situations. If the pilot chute has slowed the bag down too much, while the jumper is still mvoing at the same speed, the canopy will get a stronger shock and disrupt or spread apart the pack job causing the canopy to inflate faster or harder. Fot the most part I don't think it plays a huge roll in opening but to say a pilot chute has nothing to do with opening is not true. Everthing must work together to produce a good opening.
-
I disagree, The speed at which the bag gets to that point is controled by the pilot chute. Depending on material and size as well as length of bridle can effect how the pack job gets presented to the air. I do agree that the pilot chute should match the container. I recieve questions about this combination frequently at VSE & my answer is always the same.

You can order a dagger with vents but it does not fly as well

Harness's can be resized for a very resonable price.

We have a record number of orders in our shop right now, so it might take us a couple of days to get back to you but we will definitely reply. We also get a lot of junk mail. Sometimes I erase e-mails that look like junk (sorry). make a note to Jeff or Kelly and I'll read it! Blues, Jeff VSE
