hell, dave they've been on to ya! he's kewel, he goes to A&M, how can he NOT be cool? rock on dave! Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

i'll never forget the first time i saw scotty, he had that hat on, and went up on a big way, and he was always the first to land, it was funny to watch him with that "bart simpson" hat! (what else could ya call it?) good memories.............. Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

**From the looks of it, he was quoting a story. The second paragraph seems to be his take on it.** this was my precise observation as well, in any event, it still constitutes making/publishing a statement about someone else, whether true or not....correct? you refer to "newbie" as "he, and his" if you look at the profile as i suggested, on what facts are you basing gender? case, and point. as i said....thought provoking, at best Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
-
**No reason to get all combative...** what on earth are YOU referring to. i made no "off color" remarks at all, i simply suggested that mr/ms/mrs newbie identify themself. combative indeed! not even close, thought provoking....maybe. as usaul, we have somone trying to make more out of something than there really is. it's a doggone shame when a person can't say what they think without somebody else coming behind them with some "off the wall remark" do you think that the person who made the remark should/should not identify themselfs? Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

won't the color alteration you made destroy the fabric of the jumpsuit prematurely? i always wondered how the "tie dye" method works. from my understanding the chemicals that are utilized have a tendency to cause the fabric(s) to deteriate prematurely. i've got an old tony i was going to do that to, but decided against it because of this reason. newbie: sure is funny how you want to make this statement about scotty. and yet when one goes to your profile, your name, etc is vey obscure. if one would want to make such comments about anyone else in a public forum, it is my belief that you should at least identify your self properly. i don't know if the story about scotty you posted is true or not, doesn't matter. some people have a sense of humor, some don't. most people that sky dive have a very different sense of humor from most of the "general" population. i'm not saying i condone it, "if" he actually did it, but it's funny as hell! i met scotty my very first sky dive, and he was always helping me, he helped everyone. yeah, he's probably done some "off the wall" shit, but who hasn't? maybe he does it more often because he lives on the DZ? scotty is capable of handling himself, so if you have any questions or remarks to make about him, p.m. him, i'm sure you'll be accomadated. bill: were you "concerned" at any time during this experience? i'd a had to clean out me drawers! haven't experienced a "thermal" yet, but i know it's coming. Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

do the proper research in the field you propose to work in, create a market for yourself. know your competition! maybe even get with a small business developer at your local jr. colledge and get them to help you put a plan together, maybe you'll qualify for a small business loan to get you started. one thing is for sure, nothing ventured, nothing gained. "plan your work, and work your plan" good luck on your venture. by the way, i think it's a keen idea, that and internet website construction. Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

Ann: rant on, i will not engage in another war with you, EVER. i made it clear from the original posts that it was not intended to be a "flame" war. you always have to have a vandetta, be it animals, women's causes or whatever, please don't make me a victim again. about your log book, your right, i don't know anything about it, except what you yourself have stated in these very forums previously, and it was those posts that i made reference to. your also telling me things about a tow bar at SDH, i wish to know nothing about, lawsuits? and as far as your house fund, when i contributed, i asked to remain anonymous, thanks........never again. maybe i ought to post some of your not so old e-mails to me in these forums, where i was your "buddie" wouldn't THAT be interesting? my, how time changes things. as far as the BS you've posted here, you could've pm'd me all that, instaed of making a "big deal" out of it. but NOOOOOOOOOOOO c ya Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

i don't, can't obtain it because of my proffesion, and my sky diving activities, they don't like that. i've got personal coverage, and industrial insurance for my business, i've even got personal, and auto coverage. but even at this, none of this insurance covers me for a sprained ankle, i hate it! Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

Chris: are you a member of USPA? do you hold a liscense? case closed. consider this my last word on the matter. take care......... Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
-
**So, if he wants to compete somwhere then he can do a temporary membership for a reduced rate rather than pay the full membership rate that he obviously doesn't need.** Chris: that's a "double standard" yeah, if i need to, i'll buy a temp membership, but when i don't need them F**k them. that's rediculous, and ludricrous at best. good thing you don't feel the same way about the FAA........................ Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

**It just sucks that its maditory to jump at some places...** yeah, it sucks that we have to have driver's licenses as well, doesn't it? damn the DOT and DPSOA for requiring that. i'll just bet there's a few things there that everybody dissagree with as well, but having the license is a "nessessary evil" where would it stop? how long under this kind of mentality before we have pilots, and DZ's not governed at all? hell, let's do away with the presidency! in the end, like it or not, rules are rules, and it's best to conform to them, and adhere to the're protocol. Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
-
Phree: so, what your saying is this, you are a USPA member for now, but later choose not to be? will this action NOT inhibit your ability to jump at USPA affiliated DZ's? will it not also eliminate you from certain competitions at DZ's that are USPA affilliated? i'm getting the vibe from you that you are a "non-conformists" nothing wrong with that, that's your personal choice, but wouldn't it be better for you, and everyone else if you were a member of the USPA? Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
-
Phree: i'm missing the boat here. if your jumping at a USPA affiliated facility, how are you going to jump without a USPA membership? do you ever plan on coaching, being an aff, afp, iad, td1 or anything else, hard road to hold witout a uspa membership my friend, do the research in the SIM............ Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
-
Phree: how can you possibly have a license number, if your NOT a member of the USPA, since they govern the licenses as well? i'm befuddled........................ Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
-
if you know me at all, you'll know this does not intimidate me, so you can stop now. as i've said before, no flame war intended, so please, i'm asking nicely, in a gentlemanly sort of way, end it here. thanking you in advance for your kind understanding......................... Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

dove: sometimes when a poster replies, they don't always go up to the first post, and respond, you just happned to be at the bottom when i posted, so i did a "reply" instead of going all the way back up to the top. seriously, no harm was intended, nor was anybody to be flamed, defamed, etc...please, if you don't consider anything else, consider that. peace my friend. Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
-
Dave: hell, you should have just bitten the top off of the bottle, that would have saved your finger, true traditional aggie style! good luck bro! Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"

**Yeah... I know Ann's log book is current...** please consider that this is NOT a personal attack on ANYONE. but due to ann's own admissions in this very forum, she does NOT have a current logbook.(if you have 325+ jumps, are you NOT current? and licensed?) that is what i'm basing my facts on, her own account, not mine. she stated that her logbook was not current because of lost pro-tracs, her words, not mine. again, this is just to set the facts straight for SDH. nothing more, nothing less. Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
-
**I just think what happened to Ann sucks.. to go all the way out there with a current logbook, up-to-date equipment and a need for air and to not be able to get it.** Dove: how do you know she showed up with a current logbook? were you there? this is my home D.Z. so they play by the rules, you got a problem with that? levin covered this in his posts, and this is no offense to ann, but i believe you DON'T know all the facts. the U.S.P.A. is what it is, anybody that don't like it, can go to the U.K. (i guess) we ALL have to follow the rules, no exceptions. just my opinion, nothing more, nothing less, not even remotely aimed to a "flame" war. this D.Z. would never do anything to turn away any customer, providing they were within limits, i know first hand. Dan: if you need a "test jumper" just let me know! i won't even charge ya nothing!! J/K it really looks like Atair could have a winner here, i like the concept. maybe by the time it's released, i'll be able to fly one! Richard "Gravity Is My Friend"
