it is somthing very difucult to explain. but think of this. your going down wind to set up for your 180, 20 mph wind, if the canopy forward speed is 20 mph. your ground speed is 40. you are going to cover ALOT more ground than normal when setting up a 180. so your perception may be off in the fact that you started the turn too late to hit your mark so you dig deeper into the riser making more speed wich makes the riser harder to pull... or you could of already had alot of air speed like kaerock said. wich made the turn "pressure" allot harder. i dont know about anyone else. but i dont like telling peaple to do 180's they are just too committing. start working on your 270's

wind does not affect the riser pressure. it does however affect your "perception" on how fast or slow the turn is going relative to the ground. you may feel like your giving alot of input with a little result because of your groundspeed from the wind. it is a perception thing... i cant really explain it well maybee , hopefully somone can explain it better.

the bulb was crossing the park light curcuit with the brake light curcuit. because of poor installation. had to tweak the socket a little for it to go back together right... its all good now... but im thirsty

Also, my understanding is that there are a few other people on that list that are no longer staff members (including Nathan). http://www.ascskydiving.com/georgia_skydiving_staff.htm im not ON STAFF there. but it isnt like i would refuse to work for them at all.. but the reality is that i want to make a few working jumps each weekend and then make fun jumps, at asc i cant do that cause it is work work work. this sport is fun to me. not a job, and at asc i felt like it was a job to me, so i went elswhere. if you guys plan on trying to take skyride down, all i can say is you better get your shit together. cary is a genius when it comes to the net. whats up cary, i know your reading this. tell you beautifull wife i said hello.

correct they already know... i used to jump at asc. sometimes i still do. i chose to support hans paulsan and skydive the farm though. why?. well im not sure. it just feels right. and well alot of other peeps are following along. im having alot of fun at the farm, i used to have alot of fun at asc. but somwherer along the line it went away. as for chuting starr rigging loft. i love mike, he is a freind and an exccellent rigger, i will continue to send my buissness to him along with other buissness from my students, as long as there is no soliciting to come jump at there drop zone to the students i send there. and i think mike understands that. alot of the things that go on at asc are way out of hand and not my buissness. i like alot of peaple there including some of the owners. but the more i travel the more i relize there is a whole nother world out there. fgorgive the spelling errors cause i dont care!

ohh cmon... its a 2000 model car... no wire shortage.. i just talked to her on the phone... she said her when she hits her brake the dash lights come on. well guess what that means... somopne put the wrong bulb. 1156. bulb into an 1157 bulb socket... not a big deal im fixing it tomorow.. the bigest deal about solving electrical problems is that you HAVE to keep it simple... tires plus changed her bulbs less than a month ago.. so they stuck the wrong bulbs in it..... \ easy no cost fix.

ok. so i just talked to brandi. she will be teaching a packing class friday night at 10:00. reason for 10 is because there are peeps comong from talahasse that should get in on this. i case you dont know brandi, she is also one of my girls, although she is all grown up now and rebelling.so hands off!remember i have a very large gun. anyways. she is one of the best packing teachers ive ever seen. no shit. plus she is cute to look at."i cant believe i said that, her head is big enough already". it is $15 per person. minimum of $60. so for those who cant add there needs to be at least 4 peeps. or somone has got to pony up the $60. friday night at 10:00. it is possible to push it back a little or move it up a little. but we need to try and get there by 10:00. dont miss the chance to have her teach you to pack, she is usually too busy. and you know the instructors out there are too busy to teach packing also... brandi does an awsome job at packing. i even take her to boogies with me to have her pack for me. she has only tried to kill me once, vengfull little bitch! anyways.. be there friday night at 10:00
