Goodness it's 16 degrees out and the winds taking the chill factor wwaaayy down the Farhenheit scale. And of course, my furnace is all screwed up, I'm having to use space heaters.... The wood fire is going....oh damn I got to go out for more wood. Well, the poor dog's gotta go pee anyway. Next I'll get the crockpot going. It warms up the kitchen and smells soooo good all day. I've got an electric blanket on the bed, but don't want to lay around all day. Guess I could put on a wool hat and take a hot bath. Any suggestions on ways to get warm?

When did your parents explain sex, or did they ever? I had a conversation last night and this subject came up. I remember watching my mother apply her makeup in the bathroom mirror as I sat on the floor. Out of the blue she started explaining things to me. I couldn't have been much older than 8 or 9 at the time and while I knew that Katie from school was incorrect that babies hatched out in cabbage patches, I still was clueless to the exact process. I look back on this and I think its cool how she told me and when she told me, before I had formed certain opinions on it. Several weeks ago I had a talk with my 6 year old nephew. He asked me what a pimp is. I told him to ask his dad, and I haven't heard anything about it since then.... "I'm desperately trying to figure out why kamikaze pilots wore helmets."

We all have them...days you think you look better than other days. Is it just a good hair day? The amount of light in the mirror? So even though you could have the same outfit on you might think you look great once and a dork the next time The question is...Do you really think others can tell if its our self perceived good or bad day? Or do they just see us as pretty much the same?

Yes, a guy at my home dz was due for a repack, and the rigger knew it was time for his 4 year check on the cypres. This guy didn't have the money, so our rigger had to take the cypres out, and the guy continued to jump a few weeks without it. It seems safer to jump with a cypres that is a few weeks past the 4 year check point, then to not have one at all. What is the reason it is illegal?? Wow!

Ok, so I have to be up for work in five hours and my lovely new boyfriend won't stop snoring!!! I've tried nudging, kicking and even doing "nice" stuff to try and make it stop but nothing is working! so, does anyone have any effective ways to stop someone snoring (other than suffocation which is increasingly tempting) I will be oh so grateful as I'm not very sweet with no sleep and tomorrow is an important day at work!! Reflex. I've had it for 5 years now. Very comfortable. Easy to pack and close. Flaps stay closed in Freeflying. Ridden my reserve once on it. Quick deployment. what you are objecting to then is religion, not god*** I am objecting to God. I don't believe in him and I don't want to. We are talking about a person who threatens to send us to a place with death, torture, and anguish for eternity, if we break his 10 "rules". Even if I did believe...I don't want anything to do with someone like that.
