    The new thing happening in the Skyride arena is little Tandem mills popping up all over that are either partially or wholely funded by Skyride. This started when the Arizona lawsuit started to go against them and Cary started rearrainging the business to hide his money and assets. These are completely separate businesses that are opened for the sole purpose of accepting the Skyride/ insert new business name of the month here. How do I know this? Chris Whitley(former friend) from DC Skydiving Center is in the process of trying to open one of these shit holes in Fitzgerald, Ga. where I hold the St.Patricks Boogie. If he is successful, I'm not sure the boogie will survive. The event can not survive without the tandem revenue and in this economy I don't see people wanting to pay an inflated registration fee. So here's to Chris Whitley becoming the third most hated person in US skydiving, Right in line with Ben with his nose up Carys ass.

    Oh for christ sake... Depending how it's asked, it's a perfectly valid question. If I'm to start investing time and energy into something, I want to know who the person setting things up is. Asking: can you tell me more about your BW background and experience? vs Who the hell do you think you are? Get the sand out of your vajayjay, Chris...     For those that have the arrogance to ask "who are you" let them be some that stay home. I contacted Fortson to do the 66ways at the St.Patricks boogie because I knew he would do it right. Safety first. He did that and included as many Georgia jumpers as put in effort to attend. Had it not been for a family emergency in 2010 I think they would have done it then. Having said that, I'll supply 3 Otters in Fitzgerald in 2013. You bring the other 2.

    You best bet is going to be to call the DZs and speak to them directly. While there is a concern for the weight and what the gear is certified for, gear is available for "big boys". Another concern to the DZ is your physical ability and well being. They want to make sure you can perform the tasks needed to insure you safety.

    There was a group of jumpers at Skydive Atlanta that jumped with a disco ball years ago. I don't think they ever did it at night. I don't remember anything about the rigging but I do recall that the one they had was pretty heavy .
