I've known about your connection to Skyride for quite a while and out of respect for what I thought was a friendship I avoided discussing it with you. Even when you called to tell me how many tandem you had done and again when you called looking for help collecting the money they owed you. I'm not sure how you thought this was going to play out the way you handled this. Did you possibly think there would be a positive reaction from me without so much as a phone call to tell me your plans before hand? Bottom line I have no desire nor do I intend to maintain a long term pissing contest with you. I will attempt to keep my event running and wish you the best of luck.

    Do you enjoy the benefits of that overhead? Free pullup cords, rubber bands, advice when you need it, the ability to try stuff on? A DZ is a microcosm community. A little support of the DZ can sometimes make the community you enjoy better. There are unseen costs to every discount. But hey, you got yours. I have to admit to looking for the best deals but I also do my own research. on a side note, if I use someone facilities I will generally buy from them. If I go in a gas station to pee I will usually buy something

    The date we have had zero problems with anything related to our event in Fitzgerald Bottom line is this. If the locals ask me to leave I will. You won't. You'll throw up the equal access laws and stay whether you are wanted there or not.

    It's never been about the money. Unfortunately with our current financial situation it has to be about not loosing money because I don't have the money to pay off debts for an event that looses money like I could in the past. My time in the sport,my attitude and the history of the event speaks for itself. How deep do you want to dig.

You did introduce me to Fitz. but I think you're giving yourself a little too much credit. As I recall the story being told it was Andrew that opened the airport back up for jumping and the locals are ashamed of you now.

    You know nothing about who I am or how I feel because you have turned into such a self centered person you haven't bothered to ask the last few times you've called when you needed something. Think about the times I've stood behind you and defended you, the times I've given you job references. I would have thought that some of that would have earned me a little more consideration. At least a phone call telling me your plans instead of a call to see if I'd found out. If you were proud of yourself you would admit the tie to Skyride, or whatever name they are using this month, and move on. This is the only response you get from me.

    So, you assert that your once a year boogie gives you exclusive rights to the use of, what I assume is, a federally funded airport? I doubt that this guy's efforts to open a dz will garner him as much, or more, ill will than your tantrum here. I bet a little less whining and a little more thinking will lead you to the realization that a full time, albeit small, operation on "your" field could help rather than end your boogie. I said no such thing. I pointed out that this will probably put an end to the boogie.

    Come March 15th-18th to Fitzgerald,Ga to the St.Patricks boogie and the depending how long you can stay there are boogies in Sebastian and Z-hills Florida the next two weekends.

Do they have a new Mod training program here that we don't know about? I think I got the point across as to how stupid it would be to ask a packer to pay for your gear.
