For those that want to do somethig the time is now.Go to your DZO,tell them about this thread.Ask them to educate themselves about Skyride and their tactics.Find out what is going on in parts of the country where they have acquired DZs.Talk to them about not accepting the SKYRIDE certificates.Ask them if they are willing to pay a fee to keep the Skyride tandems coming to them or join the National Skydiving Association.For the tandem masters,ask you DZO if you can advertise on your own,bring in tandems,use the DZs gear and aircraft,give them $120. and keep the rest of the money.Talk to your DZO about going to the DZO conference.I'm sure this will be a topic of conversation. Call your USPA representative,tell them you would like to see USPAs website at the top of the search engines.With a page that makes it easy for a consumer to find the DZ that is closest to them.This will make it a little harder to confuse them. Finally if you can go to the USPA board meeting in Jacksonville in January.I'll be there. The face of our sport is changing.Maybe Skyride is not the worst part of it but to Joe Blow DZO I think it is the worst part and I don't think they realize it.The DZOs that deal with Skyride have invited someone into the front door of their business,given them the keys to the cash drawer and said we trust you to take care of our livelihood,having never met the person they are sharing their profits with.

Karma Kris? You think it's Karma to badmouth/not recognize the place where multiple people who are not even close to ownership work and play? Do you really think those people (tandem instructors, AFFIs, coaches, packers, funjumpers, etc) have done wrong? If so, how? Are they not teaching future skydivers, are they not helping to insure that those future skydivers have a wonderful experience? Karma is in the eye of the beholder. Hmmm,where to start. The fact that you took my post serious shows alot.It shows that you do not know me or the kind of person I am.If you go back and read my post you will see that it made no reference to you ,the packers,tandem masters or anyone else at your DZ.If you do a search for other post that I have made you still will not find one like that.As a matter of fact I think you will find the only comments I have made have been about Skyride alone.I do find it very amusing someone from ASC complaining about the possibility of customers being lead astray.Now,I don't know you and I don't know if you keep your profile up to date.I will assume the jump numbers and time in sport are close.Spend a little time visiting other DZs"not only in GA."and then we can have a debate about the State of Skydiving in this country and weather the tactics used be some people to gain business is at all good for our sport. If you will notice this is not a personal attack on you or anyone at your DZ.To everyone else sorry for posting this here in the Bug Reports

I had a great time everyone.It is ruff trying to stay half sober so you can jump in the morningIt was good to see old friends and meet new and expand the already wonderful family I have in this sport.Thanks to Randy and Guy for having me on the 20-ways.I learned alot.Karen I would like some pics if you have some good ones. I met with Paul yesterday,Me and Mouth are going to have a Casa in Dublin for the Boogie in March,with the option on for a second.It's been a long time since there were 2 Casas in Georgia.I hope you willl all make plans to come.

The Tech guys finished first in the A Class,going into round 10 one point behind.However they should have had about a 10 point lead.We had a great time at Skyquest,sorry I missed the Party.

I would hate to know that my lifestyle was resting on something that soon could be yanked out from under me.Internet law is fairly new and some people are going to get a rude surprise when it catches up with the rest of the legal world. Stop Skyride!!!

Thanks Battman that a great review.BTW we will be doing an airport hopping load on Wed. the 16th.Hope to hit 5 or 6 airports.This load will be pre-registered and pre-paid.More info to follow on RoamingDZ.com.As I mentioned before I have a Balloon.
