  1. Meaning no disrespect. The tragedies should be remembered so we don't have to repeat them.
  2. If I were you I'd tell your mom to fuck off.
  3. Was going to add Tom but couldn't remember his last name.
  4. Yeah, I was thinking of including the "Learn from their lessons" category, both dead and alive. It would include the Madd Skilz crowd like you listed, but it could also include those who pushed the limits just a bit too far. Patrick De Guyon, Shane McConkey, Eli, JT and others. Oh Oh oh...that Lutz dude.
  5. Not just jumpers, Stories and history. But I'll add to the list. People: Paul Fayard, Jim West, Mike Mullins,Scotty & Tami Carbone,Don Kirlin, and of course me. Books: Cowboys Caravan, The Bluegrass Conspiracy Stories: About the World Freefall Convention, Any of the original jumpers and groups out west(Cali and TX.),Couch Freaks, Lost Prairie,SkyFest,The Z-hills Turkey Meets, 10-way speed start comps,The Marvins Boogies, Nationals in Muskogee...oh and the St.Patricks Boogie or Fitz 2013.
  6. Two people who loved the ship very much died doing their best to save it. Your compassion is really awesome. Past a certain size, it is safer for to be at sea instead of tied to a dock, during very bad weather. The Navy sends their ships out to sea for this very reason. The people who were airlifted off of the 32' sailboat during the "Perfect Storm" were saved. The boat itself washed up on the mid Atlantic coast, in very good shape. IIRC, the owner got the boat and all of his worldly possessions back after it turned up. I guess you don't have much maritime experience, eh? No I don't but it doesn't take a rocket doctor to realize not heading toward the storm would have been a good idea. With the little sailing experience I have, I would have gone north or east. South was a stupid direction to pick. eh??
  7. So let me get this straight. There is a hurricane coming, forecast to come up the east coast and slam into shore "somewhere", and you get in a boat in Conn. and head south. What the fuck did they think was going to happen? I guess they never saw Gilligan's Island.
  8. Everything else aside, I find it distracting. I don't like alot of the HD stuff. I don't need to be able to see the blades of grass on a ball field or the dust on a table in a movie.
  9. You just ruined me thinking I'd be cute in my underwear set. I'm going to have to throw it out now. And normiss is going to kick his ass.
  10. I was there. I remember the Otter climbing out in formation behind the Casa or Skyvan and seeing about a 30lb chuck of mud falling off the belly.
  11. If you had any balls you'd drive that thing to Fitzgerald.
  12. Fat Fucks?? Speak for yourself. I'm a weight loosing mother fucker. Pretty soon I'll just be old and angry.
  13. Never thought about starting my own wikipedia page. I'll be right back.
  14. Skydivers are their own worst enemy.
  15. Careful what you hope for. Very few things the government gets involved with end up better off.

Got one also. Some people waste their time well.
  17. Sparky is right, if they want you, they will get you. Well, fortunately for me I was not a "Chunker" or even present at the event. Plus, I just got word that I need not worry about it any more. But maybe the DZO's hosting these events would do well to cross their "T's" and dot their "I's", prior to the event, to be safe. Matt I guess I missed how the FAA got involved in this. Pumpkin Chunkin' has been done all over the country and I have only heard of one incident, years ago, where any damage has occurred. Of course, people use to be able to spot also.
