Watching a commercial with water balloons in it. Remember seeing where they would put stuff in liquid hydrogen or something and it would freeze solid and shatter. What would happen if you put a water balloon in the liquid frozen stuff?

Got news for you, any yahoo can get a coaches rating. The difference is you are not told you can't jump with someone else till you are willing to hire the people you mentioned. That being said, It sounds like you take your coaching very serious. It's too bad that more coaches don't. Most I have seen just look at it as a way to get a free skydive.

This guy has it right. I jump at two places and there's always someone willing to jump with you for nothing more than covering his spot on the load (some will even be real nice and refuse that). Usually, it's the older guys who like to be a father figure and make sure everyone's as safe as possible. They enjoy teaching and making sure everyone's super safe. Yep, but I ment find the people that would refuse all payment. There are people like that out there. I despise the coach system. Making people jump with only instructors,coaches or do solos is a waste.(many DZs don't let people know they can jump with D license jumpers)

Katie, I'll stand tall next to what I have done here. It is afterall hating a concept not people. Let me ask you something since you insist on poking me. Are you going to teach your children that the Skyride way is the way to treat people? Do you want Ben and Cary to be role models to your kids? I'll ask this question to all of you. Are you going to teach your kids that the end justifies the means? That is a quote from Cary. Are you going to teach them that it is ok to take money from people that you didn't earn? That if you can get someones money by any means that you earned it? If you answer yes to any of these questions you sicken me.

We'll just have to agree we are in two different "camps" I guess. While jumping at a Skyride DZ (like it or not you jump at a Skyride DZ)doesn't in my book make someone a bad person, I have been in the sport long enough to know that being a skydiver doesn't make someone my friend. Coming up with and finding humor in something like The Cat AIDS Boogie does put someone in the questionable catagory and into a group I probably would not fit into. And lets be honest you could really give a fuck if I ever visited your DZ. I feel that the attitude that is portrayed in the photo of everyone in their Cat AIDS shirts flipping the finger is probably close to the attitude I could look forward to if I visited your DZ. If not,you all made that my perception and like it or not perception is most peoples reality. I go though life every day not knowing or hanging out with billions of people so it seems silly to me to go out of my way to hang with someone who supports something that I despise. Ben,Cary,Skyride and anything they have ever done are a cancer on our sport. The only good they have done has been to their bank accounts and that may very well be coming to an end.

I believe the road going into where the DZ was/is on the west side of the airport. Of the pics I have seen the new hanger is just north of where the old one was. No need to justify your reason for visiting a new DZ. Go there, jump and if you like it, go back. If anyone gives you any shit for that, tell them to fuck off.

Brent, You seem to be one of the more rational ones that post here. It is however too bad that you are grouped in with the likes of foolareyou and the many other one post wonder user names that come from the ASC /AST camp. Those dilute what it is you're trying to do. On the brighter side if you guys keep creating usernames you will eventually be able to sku the poll in your favor. My last post is as friendly and positive as I can get on this subject. If that didn't make any sense to you,you're a lost cause. As for the multiple invites to the boogie.Setting aside all other issues I don't know a single person that would go out of their way to attend "The Cat AIDS Boogie". It was poorly thought of,poorly planned,poorly advertised,poorly implemented and poorly finished.

Lets try this from another angle. I really don't expect to make a difference here but I'll give it a shot. Small town politics and dynamics work pretty much just like a forum. You have things that are accepted and things that are not. You have done something that like it or not came across as socially unacceptable and you have been called out for it. At this point it doesn't matter what it was,real,a joke,a poor joke. No one is going to listen to or be changed by your continued reasoning or excuses.Much like a child arguing with their parents,your words are falling on deaf ears.(sorry Billy) Now lets go one step farther. You have, whether you ment to or not, offended and shown disrespect for people in the town where your DZ does business. In a small town,let me tell you how that works. This was a huge topic of conversation at the local churches the week after this hit the papers. Even more so at the next Chamber of Commerce meeting. Now, here is where it gets worse and begins to show the real character. Instead of trying to make this right or at least make it go away, you are planning on doing it again. All the while blaming someone else for causing this mess to begin with. When the time comes that your DZ is no longer welcome in that town don't look here for the reason,gather up in a big round and look around. The cause will be standing right there.

Sounds like you are at the wrong place. Last time I was there, there was no fence around the airport. That could have changed.

I'm so confused. It was a joke,no it wasn't, it was a fundraiser, no,no one expected to really be helping the HS, They contacted the HS, no, the HS contacted them. That sux. I feel for you. My last went 6 weeks before I went to the Dr. Finally got so I could sleep on Ambien and now I've been off the Ambien since The Fitz boogie. I'm hoping it doesn't come back but I'm going to get the refill of the Ambien that I have coming.

I could write a book trying to answer your question. The best thing you could do is get on RV.net and learn as much as you can about RVs and their systems. Narrow down what you might be looking for and then ask questions. I would be happy to answer any questions you have. Alittle depends on what you're looking for. RV or travel trailer? How will you use it? Park it somewhere and leave it or drive or tow it around? One thing you will need to learn is that most of the systems still require 12volts to operate even when you are plugged in. This come from a battery and a converter(glorified battery charger) if plugged in. If the converter stops working and the battery goes dead most of the RV will be dead, no AC,no fridge,no furnace.

I don't think anyone has questioned anyones ability as a skydiver. Social skills? Maybe.

As your thrown off of one airport after another. I've had the misfortune of trying to deal with airports that have had dropzones like yours in the past. It's a shame that 20 and 30 years after having a group like yours on the airport they remember and don't want anything to do with skydiving at their airport. With the attitude you all show toward pretty much everything I can't imagine you showing any respect to the place where you are now. It will only be a matter of time till you're thrown off of that airport and true to past behavior you will blame me or Jumperdude or half a dozen others for the demise of your DZ.
