Same as everyone else here has repeated themselves. I have still not seen where this has harmed any competitors. There is an arguement that this may effect sponsorships,it might. It also just might,maybe change the way our manufacturers support our events, not to mention bring in outside money for our events.The only way that any outside major sponsors will ever buy into or sport is for our venues not to be a free for all for anyone who wants to hang a sign and pass out junk. I can't figure out what the real complaint here is. Is it bacause you people are that pissed about not getting a free t-shirt or is it just needing to complain about The Man?

I have not been down there yet for all those meeting, I will post as soon as I do. Don't worry there are plenty of hotels and they are already cheap but they did cut their rates last year. It would be a big help if everyone would use the ones that work with me. It helps with rooms for the pilots and volunteers.

Ummm...Fitzgerald... The closest hotel is less then a mile. We have running water and indoor toilets too.

Thanks Skymama, Maybe I can get someone to put those on Google Earth. K-dub, The logical answer to when to come would be Wed. More then likely Wed. will just be a setup day but we might get some loads up later in the day. We'll just have to see how things progress. We would however enjoy having you around while we put things together. I will be there by at least Tues. to get started with set up.

If you want to change the way people think about you and your DZ you are going to have to sever ties with Skyride and do everthing better and cleaner then everyone else if you want to clean up your rep. But lets be honest here. You don't really give a flying fuck about what I,Billy,John,Billvon,the customers or anyone else thinks as long as you have a turbine to jump out of and reasonable jump prices. RIGHT??? If you drive 10 hrs round trip you should find a new DZ. You can talk till you're blue in the face and you're not going to convince anyone of what you say. The fact that you continue to try spotlights a mental flaw. You work for a DZ that is connected to Skyride both in ownership and business practise. Either accept that or go find a new place to jump. Stop coming here to tell us you aren't connected to Skyride,you're making yourself look stupid. Story after story surfaces of how people get screwed by Skyride and the network of businesses that Cary own and your only defence is "well,we are not Skyride". YES YOU ARE!! As long as you work at a DZ that is owned by Cary,opperated by people that do what he says and/or accepts Skyride vouchers,YOU ARE SKYRIDE. If you were going there because it was the closest DZ to where you live I might be a little more understanding. The fact that you drive 5 hrs to be there tells me all I need to know.
