I know exactly what you mean, Zennie! I don't have my own gear yet, but even packing rental gear, I give it a loving little stroke when I'm all done. Oh, yeah, and there's a girl at our DZ that kisses & hugs her "SuperSpectre" while she's laying on it to get all the air out of it...it's so cute! I told her I was getting a SuperSpectre, and that I was going to love it & kiss it & whisper sweet nothings to it too, just like her! I've seen many of the guys at my dz with shaved heads...and they look really good that way. Some others have *really* long hair (one has it down to his butt even!). The ones with long hair just pull it back with a hair band and shove it under their helmet. I've seen what Sis is referring to, too, though...many girls just put a cap or bandana around their head and then put their helmet on. I think it helps keep everything "contained". I have shoulder length curly hair, and I just pull it back into a ponytail at the base of my neck. That works for me! ('course when I first started jumping I would show up with my hair up in a casual twist. how naive is that!! it looked good for about, oh, 2 nanoseconds. hahaha) Blue Skies, Toggles

Just curious...what are the reason(s) that you *wouldn't* psycho pack a canopy? I've seen posts in the past (here & on rec.skydiving) where others ask "can I psycho pack such & such canopy". So I'm just wondering what the guidelines are on that. I have a Spectre on it's way to me (first canopy! yea baby!!), any feedback on why I should or shouldn't psycho her? Blue Skies, Purrr
