.....why a 14 year old would feel it necessary to take his own life. I got the call that my friend's son committed suicide. I was at a loss for words. I just didn't know what to say to her. What do you say? What do you do? I'm just not sure. My heart is breaking for her and her husband. Sorry for the downer thread, but I'm just feeling a little lost right now. My interpretation of a good friend is someone who is there through the good times and the rough times, who supports me in my conquests, is always there with a kind word or a kick in the pants when I need it, who listens when I talk and I know will always be there. One who inspires me to be the best person I can be.

Hi sweetie. A letter to you.....here I sit reading your post and all I want to do is reach out to you. I want to hold you and make the hurt go away. You mean more to me than you'll ever know. The encouraging words you've given me when I have my doubts about this whole skydiving thing, the ear that always there listening when I tell you about my exploits, the funny stories you tell me about your life (everytime I open a box of tinfoil I think about you!), the PM's and emails just to let me know you're thinking of me and your wicked laugh.
