    The point of masks and lockdowns is to avoid contracting Covid-19 until you can get the vaccine for immunity. thus avoiding the potential for fatality and developing list of long term effects from catching the virus. Many people have scars on their lungs from the virus, even if they were asymptomatic.

    Its honestly so simple, people voted for Biden to oppose Trump rather than to show support for Biden. Children understand that concept but I guess I set my expectations too high for some... Probably why Trump and the GOP lost and will continue to be little bitches about it. SAD.

    It has slowed down now but over the last 6-7 years I've lost a friend to Opiates every 6 months or so. Its crushing and I'm lucky I got out when I did.

    Yeah, it looks like the police will have to handle those calls because.........of the resistance to defunding the police. If the police were defunded, and that cash reinvested into more appropriate response groups those calls would go to those trained to provide a more appropriate response. "I'm going to stop you from doing something, then blame you for not doing it"

    Both the left and the Right get outraged. The left is outraged by citizens being murder by police with little to no accountability and the sick dying from lack of healthcare coverage and the Right is outraged by an uncomfortable piece of paper on their face or those different from me being granted the same social status and availability of resources. The causes on one side seem more worthy of outrage.

    I audit medical billing records for a living. We are a third party vendor hired by the insurance company ( most of the big guys, including BCBS) to go through their records and contracts with different providers and find all the times they paid out too much. It is literally all the time, neither the hospital nor the insurance Co really know how much you should get charged and there is tons of variation. Often for in network providers the insurance companies pay about 10%-15% of billed charges or even less if a per diem is applicable.

    As an IAD student can I ask what it is about the training I am getting is subpar? What skills will I be lacking in once licensed that I will need extra training to make up for? I want to be proficient and safe skydiver so your advice is appreciated!

    Could you explain to someone very new to the sport why it is obvious that for the later jumpers you will be a bit lower? I would have guessed less weight in the plane would cause the plane to gain some altitude as the jumpers exited. Is this just from the prop being cut and they keep the plane at the same airspeed necessitating a drop in alt? When jumping out of twins do they still cut the props?
