    Sounds cool Ron. I love long swoops. This all started cause my friends know I am in the Texas State Record jumps and they want me to get plenty of practice. Coming out late in the CASA gave me some great swoops and visuals last year... Thanks, tom tom #90 #54 #08 and now #5 with a Bronze :-)

    Yes, video is a must. And we want just enough seperation to make the jump possible and be safe at the same time. Obviously we would all want to be heads up, but if we all know what is happening and do some good dirt diving...     We thought you could launch two four ways (one after the other, lets say out of an otter) dive out after the 2nd group make a point in thier formation and then dive down to the first one and make a point with that formation. Up to maybe 4 formations if you are quick about it. Like I said we were bored and just thinking stuff up. tom tom #90 #54 #08 and now #5 with a Bronze :-)

    Since we couldn't jump on saturday we brainstormed some new jump ideas and were wondering if anyone has ever followed two seperate, but close together, formations out the door, made a point in the first one and then swooped down to make a point in the second one? Roy who came up with the idea so I could get in swooping practice then thought maybe we could float one and dive one and have two people be in two differnt formations on one jump... Yea we were bored but I really like this idea and we are going to try it. Roy also thought we might make it a four formation four point dive as we get better!!     Hey,,!! I have L-4 and L-5 herniated discs for ever before i started jumping... I can't play basketball, tennis, or any other twisting sport, but because of the arch being a good position for our backs (to a degree) my chiropractor thinks jumping is great for me... And since I am conservative I haven't had any skydiving related unjuries to my back... Ten way still hurts from the back, at least in the old rules!!! Doing tandems didn't even bother it to much.     0- oh well:6 Great jumps on my birthday Saturday with my buds, a ball jump, a tube that f'in rocked and a dedicated gorilla jump. Not to mention a unique 44 way (with 8 people) to celebrate with a picture to send in to the magazines. Just awesome BABY!!: and 0. tom #90 #54 #08 and now #5 with a Bronze :-)

    Find some great people to hang out with at your home dz and they will probably let you lurk thier dives. I spent my first summer flying around and under and over, having them watch me spin on my back, all in the first summer. It got to the point where they said either join us or start manifesting as a solo, ok... Thanks to Eric, and little Stu, and Doug, for that first year of lurking... I miss those times. Simple. Easy. No points for me on most dives...But I learned how to fly. No jokes please!!! Have fun, tom #90 #54 #08 and now #5 with a Bronze :-)

    Speaking of Nationals... I am not going to be going this year to compete in 10way, but am certainly interested to hear if any teams have been practicing hard to pick up the slack!!     What a game!! And why the link? I was trying to find info on camping here during the thanksgiving weekend big ways and here this link is.     I have had a lot of experience at this in the last year and a half, ask anyone at sdc. And what I have learned, even when it sounds right, looks right, smells right, you should be glad you didn't step in it. The good experiences I had with the two relationships last year are now overshadowed by the pain. And I won a bronze at Nationals with one of 'em. I know I am not perfect, but I always tried to be real. And that was hard for us to do in the long run... I am alot jaded now but I am not sure I believe that it can happen anymore. Maybe.. but I ain't sure. I am getting to old to keep trying... But you seem way to young to be in this predicament. Don't give up. Just be sure!!!! tom #90 #54 #08 and now #5 with a Bronze :-)
