Had a similar experience a few years ago. After a team 4-way dive, I noticed something in the air behind my team mates canopy, so I flew in behind her to check it out. It turned out to be a hawk that was checking out her pilot chute. I followed for a good while and got pretty close (maybe 75 ft) before he decided that he didn't like being watched anymore and dove away hard. I tried to follow, but DAMN, those suckers can dive! I don't think the team mate ever noticed either of us.

My Beagle ate a cow patty with something in it that made him very, very happy. I suspect shrooms, but who knows. He wanted to play for hours, but couldn't walk a straight line. Hilarious. After I got over being freaked out. My cow dog likes to tenderize every critter he can catch, but he doesn't actually eat any of them. -- Jason -- -- Jason -- Some people never go crazy. I drive a manual in Houston. If you know how to drive a manual, it's actually easier than an auto. You don't have to keep your foot on the brake and you can use the engine to slow down most of the time. I have been driving for 22 years and I have never owned an automatic. I tell people that I don't know how to drive one, and I'm only partly kidding. I was indignant when I rented a car in Europe and they asked me if I was sure when I specifically asked for a manual. Fucking U.S. pussy drivers!! -- Jason -- Some people never go crazy. Sort of. My house is less than 1/100th of my lot, my fence (except right around the house) is pretty unrestictive, and I try to cultivate native plants to draw native wildlife. Not as often as I used to, but still sometimes. They actually woke me up the other night calling out for dinner. *** One of the water snakes (no, they are not all water moccasins(actually, cotton mouth water snakes)) that has been visiting my property for the last few years showed up this week. He is about 4 1/2 feet long now and didn't even bother to act agressive. Easy. They are no longer required to be able to read. I think it is more of a Houston thing. I have never in my life had as much mis-delivered mail as I have since moving to Harris county.
