  1. What a coincidence. His Dad is a local skydiver too! Matt Davies
  2. Here is Dell's response to your windows concerns. Ubuntu on Dell and you can order here. Matt Davies
  3. I just upgraded to Fiesty Fawn a week ago from Dapper Drake. I really like it. Everything seems to run much faster and very smooth, compared to windows. When I tried running strait from the CD it was a little slow but once the partitions were all set up and the ubuntu was installed it runs very well. I have been running Ubuntu for around 6 months now and I don't think I will ever go back to windows. Enjoy! Matt Davies
  4. Wow I just checked out the urban outfitters link and they sell some of full bleed's shirts and they have marked them way up. Matt Davies
  5. Sutton, Thanks for the link. Your shirts this past weekend were great. I think there are about 4 designs there that I am going to purchase. The shirts with cloud designs are very cool. Is your friend a jumper by chance? Matt Davies

    Boobies

I got the same thing here. Matt Davies
  7. I may be way off on this but it is the way I remember it. So hopefully Jimmy or Marta will jump in here to tell the story. I think Marta used to work at RWS. She was around when Bill Booth first started his testing of the sky hook way back when. Marta in turn applied the concept to one of her designs. This was long before Jimmy was around and vertigo was based out of Deland. Matt Davies

    Tonight . . .

Since you finished can I have the first signed copy? Matt Davies
  9. I would think that your rigger should be able to give you the serial number also. I wouldn't know why not. Just tell the rigger the date that the rig was last packed. I packed a couple rigs with vigils a week ago and neither unit had the sn printed on it. I never thought anything of it since I could get it off the controller. In fact at the time I thought it was a good idea not to have it on the unit. When I pack a rig I always turn on the aad to make sure it is working properly before I started. Then again when I am done just to make sure I did not damage anything. If the sn isn't easily accessed it forces the rigger to turn the unit on which should be happening but I doubt that all riggers do it. Matt Davies

    Boob job?

If you watch the first 1:25 of this video you will have your answer about small boobs. "Big breasts are like 'We are closing in five minutes'" Matt Davies
  11. I wouldn't bother with buying new risers. I would just have a rigger add the hard housing inserts to the risers you currently have. It is a pretty small project. Matt Davies
  12. I would go with the anal glands too. If they are dragging their ass across the floor ever thats probably the problem. You can express it yourself too. Just watch the vet when they do it and you should be able to do it yourself at home. Just make sure you do it outside and with a glove on. You think it smells now just wait till you get that fluid out thats making all the stink. Matt Davies
  13. It seems to me that it allows for the cut in portion to float. Depending on, how much or little clothing you have on it will fit like a glove. Also "prevents a line or bridle from getting caught on the sidebody." Matt Davies
  14. Ubuntu It takes a little work under the hood but well worth it. Very stable and secure. Free software, need I say more? There are programs to do just about anything even run your Ipod and a pretty cool word processor. I have a linux guy from the dropzone helping me out some, which helps a lot. I don't have to run an anti-virus program and I don't have the glitches and locked up screens that you get with windows. Mind you my windows didn't hang up very often but it was very frustrating when it did. Plus who needs windows vista when you can trick out your ubuntu to do some very cool stuff. Multiple work spaces are very handy also. Matt Davies
  15. Here is mine looking in and out. Matt Davies
  16. page 7 of the smart reserve manual. Matt Davies
  17. In my opinion the loop is too long also. If you look at the flaps where they pull under the protector flap you will see that they are unsymmetrical and the flap on the left side needs to be pulled in a bit. After shortening your loop if its tight and your having problems try this. When closing the last flap, flip the rig up on its side. Place your hand on the side of the main container. Put downward pressure towards the floor as you pull on the pull up cord with the other hand. This may make it easier to close with a shorter loop. I hope this makes sense and helps. Matt Davies
  18. This one? For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and there you will long to return. Matt Davies

  20. Is this what your looking for? http://relativeworkshop.com/pdf_files/05252.pdf The page is in pdf so it may take a minute to load depending on your system. Matt Davies
  21. Try looking around this site. http://babblefish.com/babblefish/freetranslation.htm there is a text translation on that page. there is a drop down to select the language its in and what to translate to. Matt Davies
  22. Here is my hmmm. If they can't hook up. They shouldn't be attempting a freefly. So I am with popsjumper on this one. They should stick to the plan. If that was their plan.... ITs a lousy one. Matt Davies
  23. Today at work we had a service tech in working on one of our machines. He had on a skydive las vegas t-shirt. So my dad went up to him and asked if he was a jumper. The guy replied no that he had jumped once and thats how he got the shirt. Thing was though that the shirt said instructor on it (he probably thought my dad was a dumb ass when the shirt clearly said instructor on the sleeve). My dad came over to my machine and said well apparently he has only one jump. I told my dad that I wasn't sure if I believed him. By the way my Dad never noticed that it said instructor. So my question is this. Do you ever play stupid when someone asks you about jumping? I have done it just so I don't have to answer the whole rainbow of questions (some good, some bad). Sometimes Im just not in the mood. Matt Davies
