So...what if you are getting a 'bad feeling' about your next jump?

i would and do listen to my inner voice. sometimes it's all that stands between me and something i don't want! that inner voice is my sum-total of life experiences that guides me. mostly i make the right descions when that little light goes off in my brain, but not allways! *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are! -
sitting here doing late night papaer work and i hear a really big impressive explosion! it still is nice to know that the sound of a M80 going off doesn't mean we are under attack or some other non-sense! ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

very well put, and i do agree with everything you wrote! a person must have the proper training and also have the absolute resolve to use the weapon or else it will probably end up being taken from them and used against them or their family! and by the way, i am ranger qualified and served in the 10th psecial forces group! *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

- i like to tell them i don't get paid unless i bring them back with me. - that i'm not dieing today because i have plans for the evening. - that i lost a tooth biting a person that had a-hold of my hands. -keep your eyes open when we exit, because there is a secret code word written on the bottom of the airplane and if they can't tell me what it said later , we charge their credit card an additional 25$ -try and grab the videographers shoe and pull it off for a reward when we land. -when they complain about the uncomfortable harness, i say that i work at Helga's house of pain during the week. of course you may use em if you want! brent *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

Jeff, brent here! i would recomend that you do a little research about polar shifts and read the work done by a man named Charels Hapgood. when mr. Hapgood presented his findings and therories to mr. Albert Einstine , Einstine exclaimed " that explains all the annomallies about glaciation and climate change" as well as presenting a viable source of caos that continental drift and plate tectonics can't account for! there are 200 known locations fo the magnetic north pole occuring in the last 6 million years. the poles don't change their location in relation to the earths orbit or it's location according to the sun, the earths outer mantle ( lithosphere) moves at a very rapid rate like clock work about every 10,000 to 15,000 years because of a systematic build up of ice on one or both of the polar regions. this build-up cuases an imbalance that will eventually need to shift and find a new equallibrium. all i would ask, before anyone lables me a fruitcake is, do your own research and come to your own conclusions. a quick selling point, try this; find a globe, place your finger on the southwest lower corner of Hudson bay Canada and transfer an imaginary arctic circle around your finger. where are all of the lakes located after doing this? answer; inside the last known arctic circle!! don't beleive me? check it out yourself and do the research. brent *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

scrub-a-dub bub! welcome back to the air-space. i am really looking forward to jumping with you again. NOW! stay off the slopes and take it easy on the wake board you crack head! why risk not jumping for a few nano-seconds of "air-time" doing anything other than getting "real" air-time! brent *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

never take any threat lightly! things could turn bad fast. about the gun, try getting training first, please!!!! if you are going to get one for home and personal defense i recomend getting a 357 magnum revolver, shot guns are very unweildy in a home setting and usually end up in the closet. if the time ever came to really need a gun in the home you are not going to want to deal with finding the safety or pulling it out from behind all that crap that is in everyones closet. get a dog instead, they are something the whole family can use and they will willingly give their life in YOUR defense!! *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

these ar e the things that already exsist at Skydive Tecumseh- - indoor and outdoor packing - showers with HOT water - a Tiki bar that faces the landing area - power hook-ups for campers ( at least until they decide to move the trailer area) - a video viewing area with a 10ft wide screen - plenty of gear racks - 2 huge landing areas with a ton of outs - a bonfire area - a very cool fire-pit - an off-road golf cart - a sweet mock-up for a C182 - covered creeper area big enough for 6-ways - an open creeper area for 16-ways - a full-service gear store and on-site rigging I built or helped build everything listed with the exception of the very cool fire-pit. It's the only thing anyone talks about anymore, well done Brian Harris! brent *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

i have only had 1 reserve ride out of almost 700 tandems, it was due to a line over. i have had however experienced 5 other malfunctions that could of (maybe should have) ended up with a ride. they were- 2 minor line-overs that i was able to clear with plenty of altitude to spare ( i happen to believe in deploying at 5000ft AGL) - 2 LOST drouges, the first one caought me completely by suprise. after a nice tandem w/ video i waved and dumped the handle on the DZ's vectors w/ 384's i continued to fall through the trap door with-out feeling deployment. the videographers face confirmed that i had a problem, i turned my head up to see WTF was happening and this action (head turn) was enough to disturb the burble and allowed the bag to lift off my back and allow the main to deploy. after getting to the ground and watching the vid all we could tell was that the drouge bridle seemed to vanish when i dumped the handle. after inspecting the canopy and wondering why the bag also was gone it was determined that the keeper stich on the bridle that keeps the bridle from looping down over the box weave webbing which attaches to the main center cell had failed. allowing the bridle to "saw" through the box weave. during drouge-fall the 3-ring had the drouge, but when i dumped all the force was transfered to the box weave and failed, resulting in a continuous trap-door until disturbing the burble which allowed the bag to lift. - this exact thing happened about a week later, no vid but i was tuned to this mal and simply pushed over forward slightly head down and the bag again lifted off and the main deployed. the stich is now checked regularly. - the 5th was a shreded center cell ( hard opening) i believe was the result of line dump. (small stow's and shitty bands) i lande this canopy in little to no wind or else i would have chopped it. the moral........ anything can and will probably happen. stay alert and check the gear thourghally and never back down from a packer that is not packing as the manufacture and the DZ's rigger mandates! they more than likely don't do tandems anyway, it's your life and your responsibility to your student to ensure safety!!!!!!!!!!! brent *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

get used to it, it's all part of the job! i'm 6'-1" and about 230lbs, i have taken a man 6'-8" 230lbs out of a C182 with another T/M and student on the same load. we were in the back, believe it or not and had to let the 1st pair go and the do a go round while i hooked my student up, there just wasn't enough roon to do it at the same time. it's all good! *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

-phonomenom, it shows that not everyone has ulterior motives -black hawk down, pretty honest depiction of my Ranger brothers kicking MAJOR ass and bringing all of theirs home -Rob Roy, depicts honesty, loyalty, stregnth of character and that true love can over come much *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are! -
that this cycle of bad luck can't possibly last forever- that my new sweety can come over tonight- that Adam doesn't grease my rig this weekend- that Ron and skydive Tecumseh has better weather than forcast this weekend- that human beings eventually take responsibility for their actions and stop falling on the premise that " this is who i am, and if people don't like it, fine!" these are and continue to be my happy thoughts brent ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!

the most significant reason i chose to become a TM was so i could give the tandem students a better and more comfortable experience than i had as a student. i'm not saying my tandem ride was bad, just that i knew it could have been better! one other thing! no one ever told me how fullfilling being a TM could be. to be that person that gets to share intimately the students first experience. be sure and tell me about the first time you get a female student that has an orgasm in your lap! you'll think your getting pee'd on with-out the wet spot! and you will, i repete, you will get puked on no matter how gentle you may be with your canopy turns. seriously though, never forget that each student you take, has never done this before. you have a duty to make each and every ride special for them. and don't forget to make fun jumps for yourself, or else it WILL become merely a job! *** ~~~~Green grass and high clouds forever~~~~ no matter where you go, there you are!
