She hasn't stopped talking about it. She is ready to go back. Kids learn so fast and easy. It's us adults that struggle sometimes. I am proud of her. She is already checked off level 1. Now to find the money and time to go back. :)

Hello fellow Hoosier! I jump out of Franklin. You should come down and jump with us once the weather gets a bit better. Good luck finishing up in Florida. It only gets better. Hope you get all your jumps in! -
one can tell you havent been around for very long.. Don't let VB trickle on your parade - it's still funny and he's forgotten there's always a new generation which hasn't seen the same old chestnuts. Ill try to remember that I am the Noob and that you all have seen it all! I'll go back to my hole. Thanks

But plan on doing some competition because it's awesome (Rookie 4-way is, IMO, about the best bang for buck skills improvement curve for a beginner skydiver, even one who intends to freefly. And much much fun.) I have done 2 FAILED 4-ways, but they were a lot of fun. I am looking forward to attempting to do more when the weather gets warmer here. -

Thanks for all of this. This is a lot of help. I will look into all of these options and find what is best. I can't wait to get back in the sky. It's damn cold here now. COME ON SPRING! -
Im sure she is going to love it. That is a great idea about keeping good grades as well. She is a good student but every little bit of motivation helps. So when are you taking to the sky?

I get to take my little girl (12) on her first tunnel trip in Chicago at the end of the month. I think i am more excited about this then she is. I max out her time for the first trip to give her the best first run at it. And Dad got himself a few min too. ;)

I am looking to order my 1st RW suit. I am a light weight slow fall type of guy. I have been doing some research on fabrics and know slick and tight are better for me. My question is, which materials are better for holding up, looking good and faster. Should I go Nylon, supplex, spandex, or naked (j/k on this). I wanna make sure what I get is the right move. -
Thanks for the input. Looks like I might take the hike up to Gold Coast. Sounds like that is the better option.

I am not. Just taking a long weekend trip for vacation!

I am taking a trip to New Orleans in a couple of weeks. Anyone know of a good DZ in that area. I would love to get a jump or two in while down that way. Thanks!
-
If not, I'm sure there are PLENTY of Florida DZs that would be happy to help! I will definitely keep that in mind. Weather looks amazing this weekend. I am going to see just how many jumps i can do in one day!
-
yes it does. I have been down every clear, somewhat warm day we are having. I don't know that I will be able to finish my A before the winter close, but i am sure going to try.

I thought i would say hello from Indiana. I am new to AFF. I am jumping out at Franklin, IN. I am loving every moment spent on the ground and the Sky. I have already met some amazing people. I have gotten out of my AFF training and am now working on my A license. Thanks form reading.
