Please don't say ANYTHING about GirlFallDown on this thread.

Uh.... baby..... I think you are the gayest person on here! Does that mean you'll be bringing home a dinner guest for my birthday?

Thanks sweetie! You're the best!!!

Question for those of you that have played a bit of online poker: I think that there are more players with "420" in thier names than any other catchphrase (like "nuts" or "aces" or "poker"). Do you find that to be true? I should be pretty easy money tonight. I just stopped by the "store" and picked up my "medicine" and damn it looks tasty. Living in California definitely has its advantages!

You're purdy! And you play poker, skydive and an awesome cook? I must have died and gone to heaven! By the way, I play as Jank Freefly and I will be there tonight to take y'alls money. I need $$$ for a few more Christmas gifts. I'm going to try the "drink a case of beer" stategy this week and see how it goes.

You guys already have the political world revolving around you (unfortunately), and now you want the sports world to revolve around you too? Texas gets plenty of respect from ESPN, but most people (except die-hard southerners) still view USC as the top team in the country. Last year everyone got all excited about Oklahoma wooping up on SC and we all know how that one turned out. SC are the champs and will continue to be thought of that way until they are beaten. Its only fair. Now, if Texas does beat USC this year, it will be thier greatest season in school history and they will deserve all the accolades that go with being the champs. Until then; USC #1, UT #2. FIGHT ON TROJANS!!! Bob

I have tried just about all of the remedies suggested here. Its crazy. Save your time and money and go to www.healingbackpain.com. Don't get me wrong, I do believe that yoga, stretching and meditation are all very positive things and they will help you, but I suggest you investigate TMS and how it affects your body if you want a more permanent solution.

If you have back pain, Dr. Sarno can change your life. I herniated 3 discs and was in excrutiating pain for years. I read one of Sarno's books and it helped a bit, but it wasn't until I watched his video that I became a true believer. After 3 years of daily pain I was relatively pain-free after two weeks and have remained that way for four years now. I still have herniated discs, but very minimal pain, and the medical MJ takes care of that . Gotta love Cali! But seriously, if you live with pain, check out Dr. Sarno. He is a very well-respected doctor and I believe he is on the board at NYU or Harvard or something. Oh, and here is a list of things I tried before finding out about Dr. Sarno; Chiropractor, massage, traction, drugs, herbs, accupuncture, accupressure, physical therapy and hanging from gravity boots.

I want to thank all the deezeedotcommers that came out for the boogie this year, especially those of you that came from out of town. I wish I would have had more time to jump and party with y'all, but duty calls. Sorry for the glitches with the boogie video on Saturday night, but being winded out Friday put me way behind schedule on the production. The problem we had was that the entire boogie video was on a computer and we couldn't get it onto a tape, so we had to try and figure out a way to get the computer to play on three screens. I humblely bow down to Matheus, Evan and Marc for saving the day and getting the video to play on the screens. Thank you all for being so patient! Also, a BIG thanks to my fiancee GFD for keeping me (somewhat) sane during the chaos. I'll tell you what, judging by the number of people/alcohol consumption ratio, you all can freakin party! By 10:00pm we had gone through enough liquor on the Wheel of Carnage to knock out a small army! Good job! Bob Team Jank

I posted the following on the NorCal list and thought I'd post here as well: Well, it's finally here. The Byron Boogie/NorCal Freefly Festival starts this Thursday! It looks like its going to be a great weekend, so I hope everyone is as psyched as we are. I will post some of the boogie details below, but I also would like to use this as a shout-out for a little help. As many of you know, Team Jank will be putting on a 3-screen video extravaganza on Saturday night as well as running the Wheel of Carnage. We could really use some help to make Saturday night run smoothly. Marc Doolittle will be in charge of setting up the video equipment and we could really use someone to assist him. It will involve helping Marc set up the screens, align the projectors and get everything ready for the show. Experience isn't really necessary, but would probably be useful. Also, Ryan and Ted will be running the Wheel but we could use 2-3 people to help serve the drinks. This would include anyone willing to be in charge of the Apple Pie shots. We could use a couple of the beautiful NorCal Ladies to make the Apple Pie shots that much more enjoyable. We would also like to use an Ice Luge as one of the wheel options this year and I have heard a couple people mention that they may be able to help. We don't really know how to go about getting the luge to the dz and we will be pretty overwhelmed with stuff on Saturday, so if anyone can get an ice luge to the dz it would be greatly appreciated and you will be reimbursed. I would also like to get a list of people who would be willing to shoot video for a few of our 3-camera jumps that will take place throughout the boogie. We don't really have any free slots to give away, so it would be at your own expense. Sorry we couldn't do more, but that's what we have to work with. As far as the boogie goes, here are a few details: Boogie fee will be $30 (unless you pre-registered) and will include dinners on Friday and Saturday. Jump tickets will be $20. Thursday: Freefly organizing by Ryan Brownlow, 3-camera jumps designed for the boogie video, Belly organizers, NIGHT JUMPS and I've heard whispers of maybe some famous Gumbo being served. Friday: Freefly organizing by Ryan Brownlow, Ted "Shred" Willet and Chris DeBar. Belly organizing by Mad John and Gareth. PD and Wings will both be there with demo equipment. Free beer. Pasta dinner. Swoop & Chug at sunset. Kareoke from 9-12pm. Freefly video presentaion including: last year's NorCal Freefly Festival boogie video and the complete 30-minute Shark and Michele tribute video. Saturday: Freefly organizing by Ryan Brownlow, Ted "Shred" Willet and Chris DeBar. Belly organizing by Mad John and Gareth. PD and Wings will both be there with demo equipment. Free beer. Tri-tip steak dinner. The Wheel of Carnage after sunset. This year's WOC will include; Ice luge (tentatively), Flaming Drambuies, Saki Bombs (Thanks to Girlfalldown's generous donation), Top-Shelf Tequila shots, Apple pie shots and authentic, grow-hair-on-your-face-and-make-you-cry-for-mommy Absinthe shots! There will also be some great prizes on the wheel, including; 50% & 35% off PD canopy coupons, 50% off Wings container, 35% off Mirage container, free and discounted jump suit coupons from Flite Suit/Bomber Freefly and many more. Team Jank's boogie video extravaganza. Lots and lots of mayhem! This party will be off the hook!!! Sunday: Freefly and belly organizing by those that survived Saturday night's festivities. We look forward to seeing everyone out there and if you can help with any of the above items, or if you have any questions, please send me an email. Bob Team Jank

Ryan Brownlow, Sharky and myself (Team Jank) created the NorCal Freefly Festival about four years ago as a way to give back to the NorCal Freefly community for all they have given us over the years. We have always been proud to be from here and this area has had a great freefly history. Olav Zipser worked on some of the orignal freefly moves while he was at Skydance. Charles Bryan, Mike Vail, Rob Weltz (Team Chronic) used to train in Tahoe. Alaska Jon, Jeffro, Miles and a ton of other great freeflyers were in Tahoe as well. Mad Style trained at Byron and both Guano and Jank started at Byron as well. We left Byron when we formed Team Jank so that we could take advantage of sponsorship opportunities, but it has always had a special place in our heart. When we decided to come back home this year, we started playing with the idea of combining our boogie with the Byron Boogie so that we could help put together one Big Badass Boogie. We are going to work hard to make this something special! Ok, sorry so long. And, by the way, I have FOUR Green Day tickets for sale. Anyone??? bob team jank

That's the way I like it!

I guess you can add me to the list, because I will definitely be there. I'll tell you what, there are a lot of enthusiatic people helping to put this event together and it is going to be off the hook! We will be planning something special for each day and night (Thu-Sun) and if you are on the fence about coming, you better just book your ticket now and be done with it. This is an event you won't want to miss. Keep checking the websites (www.byron-boogie.com or www.teamjank.net) for updates on the festivities. Bob Team Jank

We have competed the first two round of the NorCal CPC and it looks like it will be extremely tight competition all the way through. This past weekend at Skydance, two competitors (Chris DeBar and Marc Doolittle) posted personal best distance rounds when they tied at exactly 336'6" in light to no wind. Nice job! The results of the competitions are: NorCal CPC #1 (April 23rd, Byron) 1.) Marc Doolittle 2.) Chris DeBar 3.) Vic Krusi 4.) Scott Meeker 5.) Evan Mortimore 6.) Billy Sharman 7.) Thom Van Os 8.) Ryan Brownlow 9.) Ewan (guest) NorCal CPC #2 (May 7th, Skydance) 1.) Vic Krusi 2.) Scott Meeker 3.) Marc Doolittle 4.) Evan Mortimore 5.) Chris DeBar 6.) Ryan Brownlow 7.) Billy Sharman 8.) Thom Van Os 9.) Pando (guest) Next competition will be held at Byron on June 18th Bob

My good friend and teammate, Steve (Sharky) Harkov, has decided to hang it up and retire from skydiving. The birth of his first child and his impending marriage have shifted his focus in other directions. He has been a great contributor to the Norcal Freefly scene and he will be sorely missed. Anyway, we are going to get together on May 14th at Byron to celebrate his contributions and send him out in style. Hope to see some of you out there! Bob Team Jank
