    And here I thought people jumping in front of passenger trains, buses or deliberately going in while skydiving were some fucked up ways to off yourself. Taking out 150+ people while you're at it though... that takes the biscuit. My money is on a slow cockpit decompression which kept the flight deck closed due to the pressure differential between the main cabin and the flight deck. The door opens OUT into the main cabin. Probably difficult to prove either one with the wreckage unless they find some type of suicide note. They could still hear the co-pilot breathe into the mic in the sound files and ontop of that he had to activly deny them access to the cockpit atleast every 30 seconds through the lock system, how it works can be seen in a link i posted in my previous post. Edit: Ill correct myself - he had to deny them twice during the 8 min - once he presses "Lock" on the panel the crew cannot access the cockpit from outside for 5 min unless he opens the door.

Media in my country also reporting that the french attorney Brice Robin is now saying that the co-pilot Andreas Lubitz chrashed the plane, was awake and did not let the crew inside. What a shitty way to commit suicide if thats true... Edit: The sound file did catch the attempt of crew and pilot trying to get in, passengers seems to have known little until seconds before impact where the screams begin.

    I might be going off-topic but i just got stuck on your view of ISIS... You do realize that most of the Kurds (who are the ones fighting ISIS right now) are in fact Sunni (90% of them). The ISIS agenda cannot be equalized with Sunni muslims trying to wipe out Shiites. In reality, it has very little to do with Shiites and Sunnis.

    Taking your wealithiest city and comparing it to countries that are almost at a state of civil war isnt really setting the standard high. :P Looking at the countries that are around the same score as the U.S on that list gives a more accurate view of what the 111th place accually means (many of them are in war or civil war). I think its foolish to try and hide "bad numbers" in some sort of attempt to maintain once personal pride. You're shooting yourself in the foot acting like this.

    This video is probably not real, if you watched other execution videos. (I watched plenty) (no im not a madman, just curious) Not even the gunshot sounds match with the video, there is no blood at all and they used the same soundfile for every shot fired. Id be very suprised if this was real and sadly its not because of the kid.

    While that's true Muslims must realize that their religion is being hi-jacked by extremists. I think the world needs to see the religion as a whole taking action not just stating condemnation. I don't know the internal structure of the religion. Is there a leader like the catholic pope? There is no equivalent in islam, there is also different "genres" in islam like christianity got catholics, protestants ect but we still just bunch them all up as one muslim group and many like to talk about it like they are all cousins. (1,5 billion of them). Had a brief talk with a muslim guy a few months ago about this and from his point of view we (most westerners) sound a bit ignorant when we refer to muslims as one world group. I think situations like this really emphases this.

    Why does a black person have to go out and speak against riots? I dident feel the need to go and speak out anytime a white person does something stupid. Why would one try to make any black person feel guilty for something that has no relation to them? People are bunched up from the very start by assumptions, from the first second every white person was assumed to agree with the police and any black person was pretty much assumed to be a "Mike Brown supporter" (Even thought Mike himself has very little to do with this apart from being "the last drop") I see several videos of black people apologies for what other black people do but this only comes from the fact that if they dont do this they are assumed to agree with what this random black person has done. Why? This doesnt only aply of blacks, iv seen it a bunch of times and it does nothing more then cause more separations in form of "us and them" mentality.

    One have to be able to make a difference of when "it was just a mistake" from "You've seriously fucked up now..." This is in the later section. If i compare this to a surgical operation since that is my workplace this would be like the surgeon punching the knife through the patient and making a new grand canyon in his/her liver instead of a making the cut a little to big. The fact that they drove up right next to a person they thought had a gun is probably (hopefully) just a brainfart from thier side. Otherwise this will happen again, the next time they choose to place themselves 1m from a potential gunman.

    When ones name is that big this isnt really much work or skill effort. I personally wouldnt put to much effort in most of the awards, they are about as thoughtfull as the nobel peaceprice is most cases. Sure she probably has alot of listeners but sold albums might just be because the listerners are so young that thier parents accually have to go and buy the record. Im pretty sure she cant really be considered the biggest artist out there, but maybe she really is that big in the US. Personally (again) i dont know a single person listening to her. (Or even heard of anyone who does tbh) She feels like a brand name as someone stated allready and she is probably offered more deals then she creates herself. (People love to make money on kids who easily builds a great passion for one artist)

    I dident think of anything - as said, an argument i heard from someone else. Dident give it much of a thought afterwards either more then the possibility that the stress comes from a different direction then a normal skydive and therefor might load the lines diffrently. (In a way that isnt optimal) Still - Just a thought i heard form someone else. :) As an example i read somewhere about this guy climbing with his baserig and was hooked up to his chest strap, not only wasnt it designed to take that load but the load that was applied to it came from all the wrong angles for the stitching to be effective and then failed.

    Iv heard the argument that opening in full flight would put more stress on the lines and because of that you'd have to change them earlier.

    Belly speed is usually what is being refered to when people say terminal so why not just stick to that? (To be clear, what i mean is either saying Belly speed or staying with terminal) Since "terminal speed" is very different depending on how you fly.
