    I know exactly what you mean. I started AFF back in 2002, got VERY discouraged... really didn't know if I was doing it for myself or for others.... got out of it.... did one jump in 2003 and then took the whole year of 2004 off... came back this year and have been slowly but surely working my way through it all... I've been seriously toying with not staying in it because of the frustration factor, but also I really haven't had my mind where it should be at with skydiving...I've been focusing way too much on the social aspect of things (not saying it's a bad thing), but I really want to succeed at this sport. So, I've turned over a new leaf and I'm buckling down and just doing it... Quit worrying about the drama and make myself happy.

    She had surgery on it and is now in hard cast, she will be out of that next week, and then they will determine then where they go from there... She is dealing with it all remarkably well. She has the best attitude and even being hurt like that, you would never know it by just talking to her. She will be back up in the air soon... I need my other sky chickie to be with me!

    Tell us more! It was in October, I had just started my job where I am now and my brother called me up and said that my other brother gave us tix to go the Braves game, so I begged my boss for the rest of the day off and called my roommate and asked her if she wanted to go... So, have I bored you to tears yet? Insomnia at it's finest...

    It did hurt... it hurt like hell.... the security crew brought me ice and everything.... I thought you could bring me a complimentary ball if ya want... LOL

    No doubt... I almost caught a foul ball in the right field club level, it hit my hand, bounced off my leg... left a huge bruise on my hand and leg and then bounced up behind me and this little kid got it... which if it hadn't been a little kid, I would have been scraping for it... It was back in 2001 at a Braves/Indians playoff game... I had to fill out an incident report and everything and STILL no ball....

    2,000:0:37 Feels like I drove 2,000 miles this weekend, but it was worth it to get all of my friends together. 0 jumps, which I am really sad about but hope to make up this weekend... 37, the number of birthday candles on one of my best friend's in the world birthday cake (next year Keith, we will definitely make quite a few jumps on your b-day).... Sunset Rock was awesome with you and thank you for the most amazing hugs, they really helped in the time of need. Ben, Jenn and Keith, you guys are more than anything a girl could ever ask for in friends....
