yeah, wtf? someone in my office just came in saying she washed her mac keyboard in the dishwasher! apparently she heard from a few different sources that if you need to clean your keyboard, you can wash it in the dishwasher, you just have to make sure you don't use soap and it dries completely before using it afterwards. she hasn't plugged it in yet, and i'm being a bit too lazy to google it right now, but has anyone ever heard of this?!?!?!?! i'm hoping it's just one of those urban legends that gets passed around to see who's dumb enough to put their keyboard in the dishwasher.

my vote is for MetallicA. while it is true that their sound has changed over the years... so what? after some time you just need to find something else that suits your fancy. i mean these guys are married and have kids, you can't expect them to keep preaching death and torment and stuff like that. i find that metal heads are very anti-change, especially when it comes to a change which is away from the regular metal sound to something more melodic or softer, like MetallicA. i absolutely loved MOP, RTL, and AJFL, but there are a few songs on the more recent stuff which i find myself singing along to now and then. i attribute that to being open-minded and not necessarily branding anything different as "sell out pussy shit". megadeth, on the other hand, has had a lot of good stuff and has continued to keep generally the same audience. good for them. i, unfortunately, never really found a liking to them. eh, just a personal opinion. and that's my $0.02 for the day

Ok everyone, Rantoul is over. Attendance wasn't as big as usual, but there are other threads to complain about that. Let's see pics of the good times you had! Let's hear about the awesome jumps you got in, who you met, crazy shit you saw, the late night partying, or whatever the hell else you thought was noteworthy. I myself will submit stories a bit later since I'm at work right now. This is the only pic I have on me right now since I brought it to work to scan it. I'm the one in the blue freefly suit with the blue muffs on. It was my Muff Brother jump with Johnny Gates in the back, HappyThoughts geeking the camera, Tink1717 in red, Dave DeWolfe flying in the background, and a few others.
