here's the biggest thing to remember... you'll learn the bike rather quickly if you have any common sense.. .what you won't learn is other drivers quickly... thats what will probalbly kill you. the 600 is pretty forgiving... I laid mine down damn near 20 times the first couple months riding.. Learning the hard stuff. American version is limited to 186.5 top speed, until you tweek it, Japanese version is 225 out the box. why don't you get a 600cc Ninja for your first bike.. that's a good fun learner bike, and won't kill you. 135 mph is still double what any car will be doing out there. the gsx-r 600 & 750 might kill you, ohhh wait, Kawi makes a 636 cc bike now that is mid range mayhem! you'll have it all, corners, wheelies, speed, bitches riding bitch, everything. The board, (granted I tried to sacrifice my self before the board but this was still weird) I tried picking the board up above the wave and I got it out of the water high enough that I thought all was good, well. I watched the board sail up in front of me and over the rocks, as I was getting slammed into them. The board came back off the cliff on the receding wave, just high enough off the water that it did not get nailed. There is no good reason that her board is not in 2 distinct pieces. Not even a scratch. She's seeing every wave and everything else going on in the universe.
