Im not familiar with large dz operations as I have only jumped at Eloy for Collegiates this year, but we have all low time jumpers get gear checks before loading the bus. At my small dz, this would have been notice very quickly. Is this practice common at larger dz's? Here's to the Breezes that blows through the Trezzez.....

do they jump at a small or large dz. i jump at a small one and we have had this happen several times. usually it ends up bad if things go sour. it seems like it is usually the other way around though. the guy is a serious jumper and the chick usually ends up leaving, which is why our dz is a total sausage fest Here's to the Breezes that blows through the Trezzez.....

I know that feeling....the worst part about it is that you are kinda coherent so you remember it. If Im going to puke, Id rather get it over when I dont remember. Last night wasnt too bad, but Ive been shitfaced like the last 7 of 8 nights( I LOVE college). Just going to let everyone know....My trip to Cancun went well (only got one jump though due to being a tandem factory). Only small problem was coming from Mexico back. Not speaking much Spanish, it was difficult to explain my rig. The security lady couldnt understand that I couldnt open everything up for her. Finally some guy realized what it was and let me pass. Carrying it on is a pain, but the sense of knowing where it is gives you some peace of mind during the flight. Here's to the Breezes that blows through the Trezzez.....

Wish that I would always choose my words carefully, because I seem to 'swallow' them quite often. Way to go...that guy seems kinda like a lady above me here at work. I don't know that I would agree with trying to land the canopy. With that amount of damage, what happens if it decides to fold back up at 50ft. I'm glad that everything worked out alright, but if I ever end up with that type of mal, Im going to trust my rigger and chop. Here's to the Breezes that blows through the Trezzez.....
